Wolumla Bush Camp
We loved camping at Julie & David’s Hipcamp! We stayed with our two dogs in our large camper. They had levelled the ground in a spot up the hill so you have a perfectly flat sleeping spot. Both Julie and David were attentive hosts and would check in on their walks or way out to make sure we had everything we needed. It was our dogs first camping experience and the location was very private, so it was not a problem if they were barking. There was even a fenced in area just a 5min walk away that we could have some off leash time without worry. We enjoyed watching the cows over the hills, seeing the kangaroos in the morning and evening in and having fires in the fire pit. We went for some lovely walks on their property and enjoyed checking out the local beaches (Pambula beach even had dolphins! And Tatura beach was lovely). I would definitely recommend driving up to North of Eden Gin Distillery too. We had access to David’s water if we needed it. The toilet was good and had plenty of toilet paper for our stay. We will definitely come stay again on our next east coast trip!

Wonderful camping holiday, thankyou
We had the most wonderful, relaxing stay at David and Julie’s Wolumla Bush Camp! They were both so warm and welcoming and checked in with us if we needed anything. We were given really clear directions and it was so easy to find exactly where to go. There was a great level spot for our tent and gazebo, a fantastic campfire spot and lovely grass and trees surrounding us. The best part was the spectacular views of rolling green hills, dams and mountains. We loved seeing the cows and kangaroos and the early morning birdsong was beautiful. We felt so safe and relaxed and really appreciated everything Julie and David had done to make a fantastic camping experience for us.

Wolumla Bush Camp
We absolutely loved our stay at Julie and David’s property. This was our first proper camping trip, we stayed at several Hipcamp sites and this was the only site we felt completely relaxed, safe and accommodated for. David regularly checked-in to make sure we had everything that we needed and communication with Julie was consistent and helpful. Julie and David were the only hosts that respected our request to not have other dogs around ours, the views were beautiful and the whole energy of the property of relaxing and peaceful. We definitely plan to come back and stay here, thanks Julie and David- you are amazing hosts!!

Sunset paradise!
We had the perfect long weekend at Wolumla Bush Camp with our two kids and puppy. The views from the site are honestly stunning. The site itself is so well set up for guests, including a mountain of fire wood, beautiful fire pit area, picnic table and a drop dunny. David popped over for a chat and to make sure we had what we needed, and was kind enough to let us explore his property a bit which the kids particularly enjoyed. The communication with Julie prior to the trip was very helpful and all messages were responded to very quickly. The best part for sure was the amazing sunset over the valley from the fire pit. We cannot wait for an opportunity to visit again.

Perfection
We had the best time camping on Julie and David’s property. Great location to explore the surrounding towns of Candelo, Merimbula, Pambula and Tura. It’s only one site and it has the best view and so much space all to ourselves. David greeted us when we arrived and Julie popped by another day to check We were ok and happy. We had the best campfires thanks to their unlimited supply of firewood. The outdoor dunny was a bonus too. A perfect stay, it was very hard to leave. We would love to come back.

Wolumla Bush Camp
We really enjoyed our peaceful few days at Wolumla. Campsite was close to all the places we needed, but still quiet enough and private. David and Julie were really lovely and helpful and checked in on us to make sure we had everything we needed to have an even better stay. The view was amazing, fire pit was lovely and the drop dunny was all we needed. Best of all, we loved having the campsite to ourselves for us and our dog to roam and explore ☺️
