Come and enjoy this creek front campsite in the heart of the Tweed Shire. Nestled on the banks of Doon Doon Creek, clear constantly running water with a large swimming hole awaits you!. The property is a 300 acre working farm with horses, cattle and a friendly dog named Wal. Campers are welcome to explore the many walking tracks on the property as well as the bordering national park. Just a 800 metres from Clarrie Hall Dam, spend your days picnicking and paddling amongst the stunning scenery. The dam is stocked with Australian Bass for a fun day's fishing. Take a 5 minute drive to Uki a township where you will find an abundance of arts and crafts, weekend markets and a host of alternative/natural therapy practitioners. You'll reach the larger town of Murwillumbah in just 15 minutes and the famous Byron Bay in under an hour. Explore the nearby Northern Rivers Rail Trail - 24km of trail through working farms, lush rainforest, wide bridges and original train tunnels. PLEASE NOTE: there are public toilets at the village of UKI about 2km.

My dog and I loved it. Accessible and secluded. Beautiful creek and just a few minutes from Clarrie Hall dam if you want to kayak. We’ll be back :)

Windmill Creek Camp
Great spot! Friendly host and very easy to find. Unfortunately it rained most the trip but we swam in the river for most of day one as it was perfect depth and temp. Deffinately a beautiful spot We even got lucky enough to see a platypus swimming and hunting on the river. Would Deffinately recommend to a friend or even return for another visit!

A slice of heaven
Would 100% recommend staying on Bob’s property. The views of Mount Warning are breathtaking. Everything is lush and full of life. One of the best spots if not the best spot we have stayed and it’s handy that town is not far away if you need anything. Swimming in the river was magical. We didn’t get to do any hikes unfortunately due to the weather, but we will be back to explore more of the property. Thank you Bob for sharing your slice of heaven.

Windmill Creek Camp
Absolutely loved Windmill Creek Camp. Bob was so helpful and responsive, and the area was just beautiful. Perfectly secluded for my pup and I to roam around, swim, and have all the space and privacy we wanted. Very grateful
