Private, beautiful, peaceful. If you are looking for a special place to camp right by a beautiful river, this is the place to go.

Site 3 is a gem! The creek is fresh with soothing little rapids that we fell asleep to. The campsite is perfectly positioned to block harsh sunlight, which was great for our two young kids. In the evenings, the trees and hill shade the area early, keeping the tent cool—ideal for summer camping. It feels very private, like a natural amphitheatre facing the creek’s watering hole, and there’s plenty of wildlife. Highly recommend!

Secret Hideaway
Site 3 is exactly how Stuart described it - beautiful, peaceful and private. We had the campsite all to ourselves, sharing the waterhole with the local platypus. Plenty of firewood around the property for the campfire, trees to string up the hammock, grass for the kids or dogs to play on and the bonus, compost toilet. Stuart was a great host, friendly and knowledgeable about his land and surroundings. We will be back. 💯

Loved it!
Absolutely loved our camping experience at Wild Nymboida. Everything was as expected with the access and organisation with the host. Beyond expectations for the tranquility and relaxed vibe along side the river. We had #2 site to ourselves with friends and it was absolutely perfect! Will definitely be going back sometime soon to stare up at the Milky Way again.

Totally Amazing Spot 👌
What an absolute gem of a spot. Direct Nymboida river access, green grassy camp-site, clean composting toilet, open fire pit. Everything you need for a fantastic camping trip. Even saw a platypus and glossy black cockatoos each day we stayed. Dog friendly was a bonus. Cannot recommend this place enough. We will be back. Thanks for the stay Stuart.

Mid winter camping
Love this little camp spot right on the river, dogs love it as well. Second mid winter camping here and with level ground and fire with the sound of rapids in the background , it’s a gem.
