Wattle Valley Farm lies is a 100 acre property, bounded by the iconic Wollombi Brook, which many native wildlife call home.  During your stay, you might even come across some of our friendly native residents like wombats, kangaroos, echidnas, goannas, kookaburras and black cockatoos. We also have a number of short walks you are welcome to take if you want to explore the property while you are here, including local Aboriginal cave art and our beautiful scenic river walk. Wattle Valley Farm is located in the heart of the Wollombi Valley and the Hunter Valley wine region, making it an ideal base while you explore everything the region has to offer.  The historic village of Wollombi is only five minutes up the road, and has a lively cafe scene, unique experiences and the famous Wollombi Tavern. Meanwhile, the popular Broke and Pokolbin wine regions are a short 30-40 minute drive along the beautiful, meandering country roads.

Pet-friendly Camping
Wonderful family Camp!
What a find! Fantastic family friendly camping. Wide open field to set up camp, or nestle in amongst the bush for more secluded sites. The shower blocks were clean, what a luxury to be able to have a hot shower camping. Matt was a terrific host and shared lots of info with us on arrival. We’ll be back!

Camp at Wattle Valley Farm Wollombi
A stunning property for a winter camp. We stayed with a group of six families. Plenty of space to set up comfortably and not too close to other campers. Open paddocks for games and kids to run free. Plenty to explore in nature with the bush & the creek. Despite some rain the ground drains well so not boggy or muddy at all. We had an amazing weekend at this property.
