Sitting on 25 acres this spot is great to just unwind and relax, looking out over the trees down the valley is as beautiful as it gets. A lot of bird activity will accompany your mornings and afternoons. Enjoy sitting around the fire pit at nighttime roasting marshmallows. Come nighttime during September - February it is the mating season for koalas, the valley being a known corridor for koloas you quite often hear them searching for their partner. being such an accessible site and not off the beaten track, some days you may notice more vehicles driving past. Just a short drive to the local country pub, even a few local wineries. Take the old convict road all the way down to the country pub at st Albans, which is very peaceful for adults but theres also a creek for the kids to play in and newly upgraded playground. Off the convict road there are a few 4wd tracks. Just back from the property you have direct access into the Watagan Mountains, which offers great 4wd tracks, lots of hiking trails, motorbike tracks and even a few waterfalls.#buckettyvalleyview #valhalla_bucketty *attention* site layout has changed slightly, with such high depend ive decided to keep vechiles off grass area with a new driveway up the side for vechiles. Updated picture will soon be put up Pitch your tent or back your caravan in. Fold out your chair and relax with very limited phone reception. You won't be bothered by the hustle and bustle of today's life. Enjoy the crackling of the fire in the fire pit provided as you relax and look over the valley. For your convenience, you can purchase a crate of firewood for $20 from me, each crate is loaded with firewood and is approx. 25kg, Depending on the size of the fire, one crate is usually enough for a night. Discounts for 3 or more crates of firewood purchased at once. Wood can be prepaid via bank transfer or cash on arrival. Due to a limited phone signal, please advise prior to arrival if you wish to purchase firewood. We recommend you don't let pets walk off into the bush out of sight, and please be respectful and pick up their waste. The local area boasts a lot of history and lots to see and do. Head along Geroge Downs Drive, a short drive past the fire station on the left. You'll find handmade walls that were constructed back in the day by convicts. If you follow this dirt road, it will lead you to a beautiful country pub at St. Albans short drive down the road, to little town called Laguna. which has a great little restaurant the trading post, awesome food and lovely staff. Take a short drive to Wollombi village and check out the little country shops, galleries, cafes, and pubs, and support the rebuild of recent weather events. Enjoy the local wineries with what they have to offer. A short drive into the Watagan mountains where you'll find waterfalls, lookouts, picnic areas, and lots of walking/ riding tracks.

Incredible location
The location was absolutely beautiful looking over the valley, and the facilities were well maintained and very nice! The campsite feels very secluded minus the occasional car driving past, but it happened so infrequently that it wasn’t a bother at all. It’s not too far from Sydney either but far enough that you feel tucked away in your own little world. I would 1000% come back here again to stay!

We loved staying at Kim’s land. The spot was very neat and tidy, with the big fire place. Good to have your own toilet. Kim is a super host. At first we were a little disappointed that the spot is so close to the road , but the traffic is not too bad and it didn’t bother us.
