Tyalgum Showgrounds offers both powered and unpowered sites, toilets, showers, drinking water, free dump point for campers and a camp kitchen. This is a recreation reserve camp ground run by volunteers - all money collected goes back to improvement of the facilities. Dogs are permitted but must be on a leash. The Showgrounds can only offer a maximum of 7 nights.

Well maintained site clean amenities and friendly staff. Pets allowed on leash and campfires in a raised firepit also allowed

Great area and lovely views. Make sure to carry a torch as there are no lights in the showground at night and it is very dark walking to the amenities

Not so reliable
We were celebrating my birthday, it was quite full as it was long weekend, so we texted in advance requesting a fire pit. Getting there there was no fire pit left out and the receptionist just vanished. We had the most freezing night ever. If you say you will do something… just do it.
