Tweed Valley Whey Farmhouse Cheeses is a small 100% Australian owned artisan dairy business. Family owned and operated, we run the 100+ head dairy herd which will supply the A grade quality milk for the gourmet cheeses.  The Dairy farm is located in the Burringbar Valley, just north of Byron Bay. Burringbar is situated at the entranceway to the Tweed which is also known as the Heartland of Australia's Green Cauldron. The sub-tropical climate allows for lush pasture to be grown all year round. Our pasture based grazing system means you taste the freshness in the milk which flows into the flavours of the local territory in the artisan cheeses. Aside from our 4th generation dairy farm and artisan cheese factorym, we also run a licensed cafe. No tents - RVs/caravans and camper trailers only. We offer several grassy sites on our property, situated in the lush green pastures of the Tweed Valley. We have a retail outlet onsite. Come and order a coffee, cheese platter, wine and local products to enjoy at your site! We're a great place for those travellers looking for a convenient stopover, in a beautiful setting, with nice additional touches.  We're close to National Parks, Murwillumbah Arts Precinct, Margaret Olley Art Gallery and Husk Distillery and just 20 mins drive to access the coast from Kingscliff to Byron Bay. We have a toilet on site. Your well-behaved pets welcome too but must be kept on a lead. No tents - RVs/caravans and camper trailers only. Tweed Valley Farmhouse Cheeses
The location suited us for the night, the flushing toilets were clean, the grass well maintained, the site level and the host was pleasant, however I prefer not to be parked up in someone's backyard.
