Our 300-acre off-grid property backs onto the Barmah National Park. This forest, together with the adjoining Millewa forest, forms the largest River Red Gum forest in the world - it's majestic to explore. Our property is just 500 meters from the Murray River. From your camp, roughly a 1 kilometre walk through the forest. On our boundary is Backwater Creek, which fills with water when the Murray River is up. NOTE: Creek is often dry. It has water in it after environmental flows of the Murray. This can happen several times a year and the water lasts a few months. If you have any questions about water levels please ask before booking as it might be dry when you're here. We're located just 5kms northeast of Moama, where you can hop aboard a paddle-steamer, visit waterside wineries and soak up rich riverboat heritage. We offer a few large, beautiful, basic bush camping sites (the best kind!) in amongst 50 acres of bushland, with 100's of meters and trees between you and other potential campers. The rest of our property is used for cropping and sheep. Campers must take out what you bring in. Big Bama and No 3 - you'll need to be fully self contained. There is a dump point in Moama. Toilets can be hired from Central Hire in Echuca. They can deliver it for you. Mobile and internet is usually reliable, though with long weekends and summer school holidays the service seems to disappear! *Please feel free to book anyone in your possie that is under 18 as a child.

Camping how it should be!
Fantastic location and the hosts were fantastic. The heated shower and bathroom facilities was just fantastic. Thank you so much 👍

Little Bell Glamping tent
Amazing glamping experience
We loved our time spent glamping in the Little Bell tent at Tooranie. Kerry and Ben were the perfect hosts. Kerry setted us in and made sure we had everything we needed. The hot shower, flushing toilet, fire pit (complete with marshmallows), super comfy bed and perfectly equipped outdoor kitchen were the perfect additions to our private bush glamping experience by the creek. We loved every minute! Thanks so much for having us.

We had a great stay in a camper van. Plenty of firewood to be collected and the site was private and welcoming. The toilet was well set up and easy to find in the dark!

Great camping spot!
Tooranie Stay was a wonderful 1 night stay for us but I can imagine being comfortable and entertained there for several days! Kerry came down to say hi on arrival and was lovely and very helpful! The flushing toilet is a great extra and the solar lights and fire pit added unique character and experience. Directions and communication excellent. Thanks for having us, definitely recommend ☺️

Big Bama Bush Camp -Groups welcome
We moved to the creek camp. A beautiful private area in wonderful bush land and about a 15 minute walk to the river. Wonderful amenities and a great host.
