A secluded site all to yourself, perfect for a family getaway with just you and your friends.
We have beautiful rural block in the high country of NSW. Comprising around 50 acres with around 10 of those being cleared paddock and the balance of bush land.
20 mins drive south from Jindabyne, the land starts at 1250m where our two dams are sited, with the top of the land at 1400m as you wind you’re way through the bush tracks that traverse through the property.
The upper dam has been stocked with brook trout making for fun fishing with kids. We’ve limited access to one group at a time meaning you have the run of the block to yourselves.
It’s around 50 acres of paddock and bush, with plenty of wildlife and walking/bike riding opertunities. Climb to the top of the property where there’s a large rock formation and find goat rock where you have views of the snow capped mountains to the west and views down the Grosses valley to the north.
Drive out to the south down the Barry Way and get to the snowy river for a range of activities like kayaking, swimming and fishing.
You’re 45mins from Threadbo and all the activities there and 20mins from Jindy and the lake and shops.
We’re just to the north of wilderness that stretches for 400km to the south coast and so the stars can be wild on a clear night. Watch out for the dark emu in the right season, or teach the kids all the constellations.
There’s dams for swimming and fishing in. A few fire pits for you to cook over. No fresh water on site. No permanent toilet. Please assume no phone or internet noting there is some broken reception in the area.
There is a treehouse that the kids are welcome to use (at their own risk, it’s pretty ramshackle 😂) and rope swings etc around the site.
NOTE: there is a half build house on the site with building materials around it. Kids should be supervised so as to not play in that area.
