Nestled in the hills of Uki at the foothills of Mt Warning (Woolumbin) - We are a 300 acre cattle farm with a mixture of grazing land and rainforest. However, everyones favourite part of the property is the flat, manicured campsite where the Door Doon Creek meets the Tweed River. With easy access to Kyogle road this 2 acre campsite offers absolute river frontage, landscaped gardens, fireplaces and enough room to get away from it all. Relax and unwind by the river or explore the many options on your doorstep, including Fishing, Canoeing, Kayaking (plenty of river to paddle, or Clarrie Hall Dam is 900m up the road). There are also many bike and walking tracks literally on your doorstep as well as the Murwillumbah Rail Trail less than 25 mins away. The other HUGE attraction to recently open is the world class UKI MOUNTAIN BIKE PARK (about a 4 min drive). Feel free to ask us for the best local swimming holes, waterfalls, and hiking tracks around the area. PLEASE NOTE: There are public toilets at the village of UKI just 2kms up Kyogle Rd.Nestled in the hills of Uki at the foothills of Mt Warning (Wollumbin) - We are a 300 acre cattle farm with a mixture of grazing land and rainforest. Campfires are allowed and if you can find firewood on the ground near the river go for it however, bags of firewood are also available for $20. The campsite is just off Kyogle Rd which makes it super accessable however, it is completely private and shaded by large trees and bushes which keep the road out. The water from the river or creek is crystal clear and usable for washing up, camp showers etc. It is only a 2 minute drive to the beautiful little village of UKI which has the farmers markets every Saturday and the UKI BUTTERY BAZAAR MARKETS on the 3rd Sunday of every month. Uki also boast a variety of specialty stores, cafes and the best pub in Australia. PLEASE NOTE: There are public toilets in UKI just 2kms up Kyogle Rd (This camp is even good enough for STONE & WOOD to shoot a commercial for their new beer and for BCF to shoot some of their catalogue here)

Tweed River Retreat
Lovely little spot with a cute creek running through the place, lots of trees, wildlife and easy access to the property! What I didn’t like is it’s right next to a bridge so all you can hear is cars and trucks go over it allday and into the night when we wanted peace and silence, we also got accused quite rudely by the host for having music going all night but there was a Halloween party down the road (not even on the property we were staying at) so wasn’t us and we also didn’t like listening to the thumping music 😅 Quite dodgy roads also so I don’t recommend riding to the public toilets like we planned to.

Beautiful location, tidy, well kept campsite. Met Bob who was very kind and hospitable. We were lucky enough to get the place to ourselves so there was plenty of room!

Great spot, Bob does a fantastic job keeping the sites well maintained. We loved UKI and the coffee at Bastian Lane was excellent.
