Take a break and escape to our peaceful spot on Tallawudjah Creek for a relaxing getaway in the beautiful Orara Valley. If you're looking for a quiet retreat, our campsites combine natural beauty and seclusion for the perfect peaceful escape. You're welcome to collect fallen branches and sticks to light a fire and watch the sun set over the mountain or if visiting during the week, the local timber mill is just 2klms away for firewood. Set up camp above the creek which has shallow and deep swimming holes. This is a quiet and relaxing getaway with no large, loud parties allowed. Campers must be self-contained and leave no trace, taking all rubbish with them and disposing of black water responsibly at a dump point or at home. Tallowood Creek
Not private but the creek was nice.
Not as private as we were expecting.. the creek/spot was beautiful but just a little too close to family homes… especially over a long weekend when people tend to have family over.

Camping with a view
What an unreal campsite! Such a nice spot next to the creek. Great for showering in if it’s not to cold! Great hike just around the corner with an insane waterfall. Peter is super friendly and I really can’t fault this campsite. Definitely recommend!

Tallowood Creek
Private & peaceful site, away from the road & access to the creek. Slight slope for caravans but another flatter site closer to the road with no creek view. Friendly, hospitable host with knowledge about the area.

Tallowood Creek
Pristine creek and night sky
Absolutely beautiful property, pristine creek! It was so lovely to hear the creek and the wildlife during the night, I was also blown away by the stars! Peter was so kind and accommodating, he left a function to come and deliver us firewood free of cost! You might get lucky like us and see some kangaroos bouncing around too 😍 Will definitely be staying here again
