Turtle Dam Camp Ground
Camping with dogs
Despite the rain, we loved our recent weekend stay! Thomas was very welcoming upon checkin and guided us safely to a well cleared campsite. Definitely recommended having a 4WD as track through the property to the site is steep and rocky in some parts (Thomas was sure to check with us prior to confirming booking that we would be in a 4WD- very helpful) Our two doggies loved the open space to run around, and exploring the creek to catch sight of any platypus was a highlight. Secluded and private, with subtle reminders that we were on a working farm. Beautiful surrounding views from the top of the hill and lots of space to explore. We would definitely return. Thank you so much for offering us an alternative option if it rained more heavily than it did. Much appreciated.

Serenity!
We had a wonderful relaxing time camping at Turtle Dam. We went exploring, searched for platypus in the creek, watched the sun set from the hill and admired the stars beside the campfire. The dog also had a blast! Our all-wheel drive Rav4 struggled a little but made it! 10/10 loved it.
