Sweet Mountain View camp sites are on lush grass fields with views to mountains, forests, farmlands and cattle. Near Urbenville, north east N.S.W Campers will love the walking access on our property to a large permanent creek. Also there are rainforests and open forests very nearby. Pets welcome on leash, and cleaned up after. Campfires permitted within local regulations, there is loose fire wood laying around in the paddocks for collection. There are no facilities here, campers will need to be self contained and leave no trace. 7 minutes drive will take you to the quaint town of Urbenville. Urbenville has a grocery shop, pub, fuel supply, scenic drives. 18 minutes drive will take you to the quaint town of Woodenbong. Woodenbong has 2 grocery shops, golf club, swimming pool, tennis courts, scenic drives and many more leisure and recreational activities. The Woodenbong Driveway offers 24 hour fuel, news agency and stationery supplies. The property is locates approximately 2.5 hours SW of Brisbane.Sweet Mountain View camp sites are on lush grass fields with views to mountains, forests, farmlands and cattle. Just second walk from Tooloom creek, with permanent water, which you can paddle down to Tooloom Falls!! You can swim in  the creek, or spot a platypus if you're lucky. Bring a kayak or paddleboard and make your way down to the waterfall.  There are rainforests and open forests very nearby, you can add a guided bushwalk to your booking at checkout ($10/hr for one person or a group). Pets welcome on leash, and cleaned up after.  Children under 5 free!  Campfires permitted within local regulations, there is loose fire wood laying around in the paddocks for collection.  There are no facilities here, campers will need to be self contained and leave no trace.  8 minutes (5 km) drive will take you to the quaint town of Urbenville. 15 minutes drive will take you to the quaint town of Woodenbong. Woodenbong has a golf club, swimming pool, tennis, scenic drives and many more leisure and recreational activities. Woodenbong Hotel offers meals and comfortable accommodation and the Woodenbong Driveway offers 24 hour fuel, newsagency and stationery supplies. The Woodenbong Camping Grounds welcome caravans, motorhomes and tents and offers a free dump point. The property is located approximately 2.5 hours SW of Brisbane. We had a great weekend at Sweet Mountain View. Lyall and his wife Kristine were very welcoming. It was perfect weather so we got to camp 100m from the creek and were often visited by cattle in the early morning. It truely was a beautiful stay and a great way to see part of the scenic rim.

Sweet Mountain View - we LOVE you ❤
We love this place, absolutely stunning location surrounded by mountains. The Tooloom falls are spectacular- esp at sunrise and sunset and the paddle out there is equally stunning. The calmness on the water and the surround of wildlife will leave you wanting more. A real escape from the daily grind but still close enough for reception and a trip to the local for supplies. Plenty of places to explore and keep busy and the animals are so friendly - our favs, Elmer the mini donkey and Chester the 30 yr old horse. The hosts Lyall and Christine are wonderful people - so friendly and helpful- they feel like family - even though you’ve just met them. 11/10 - we loved it and can’t wait to come back. Thank you Lyall and Christine for the best weekend ever!

We had a great stay at Lyall's place, he and his wife were so welcoming. Their property is absolutely beautiful, we stayed at the top of the hill and had views all around of the mountains and cattle farms. We'll definitely be back when it's drier to stay at one of the spots nearer the creek!

What a great place to get away for a couple of days! The views are amazing, lots of wildlife to be seen there is also a good pub in town and an amazing waterfall/swimming hole just a couple klicks down the road from Lyalls property. The host are absolutely wonderful great to have a yarn with and make you feel extremely welcomed to their home. The camp spots do not disappoint with good privacy from other campers, would definitely recommend Sweet Mountain View to other hipcampers 👍🏼👍🏼

Amazing Views, Lovely hosts
Had a lovely time on Lyall's farm. Him and his wife were very welcoming. Directions were easy to follow. Upon arrival, We had a choice between two camping spots as we were 2WD. With a large amount of firewood to grab lying around for free and a provided stone firepit with wooden seating all setup. Lyall gave us a well guided tour around the land showing us every beautiful nook and cranny. Between the gorgeous views to wake up to, the friendly farm animals and lovely hosts I couldn't recommend staying here more.
