Our quiet 25-acre property is only 15 minutes to Orange CBD, but you will feel much further on our tranquil, private and semi wooded bush camp sites with amazing views. Pets are welcome. We do ask that pets are supervised at all times and that they do not interfere with the abundant local wildlife or stock. Pitch your tent or park your RV in the paddock and enjoy the views, stars, birds and other wildlife. You will need to be fully self-contained. No toilets, bins or power provided. Tank water may be available on request. Our property has a mixture of 2WD and 4WD accessible sites and we can accommodate all types of self-sufficient camping vehicles. Campfires are allowed (fire restrictions permitting). Wood can be collected from fallen wood around the property or can be cut and provided to your site for a small fee. We are close to - The Falls https://www.nationalparks.nsw.gov.au/things-to-do/lookouts/the-falls-water-falls - Historic Water Race walking track and Fourth Crossing picnic area, - Ophir picnic reserve, 4x4 tacks and historic gold fields (take your torch) - Wineries and other local attractions. The Orange and Cabonne region also feature wineries, parks and gardens, heritage villages, bushwalking, mountain bike trails, Borenore caves, Mt Canobolas Federal falls and the Pinnacle. https://www.orange360.com.au/Things-to-do Mobile phone coverage is available in some locations (Optus is stronger than Telstra) or a short drive for full coverage. Perfect Camping Spot
Convenient location 15 mins from Orange. Campsite was secluded, grassy and had plenty of sunny and shady spots. Darryl and Veronica gave us a warm welcome. We were told that there was no mobile service but we were able to get Optus without issue.

Great spot!
We had a wonderful stay at Summer Hill Creek. Darryl was a 5star host who met us as we arrived and took us to see the various sites. Each site is clearly marked and very spacious with well kept grass and plenty of shady trees. We loved seeing to Kangaroo's and Joeys and the different birds. We stayed on site 6, which was a fairly easy drive with our 4x4 and 15ft caravan. Our kids and puppy loved the open space to play, while we sat around the fire relaxing. (Darryl delivered a huge pile of wood to the site). We highly recommend this awesome spot and will be back for a longer stay.

Quiet and peaceful
Welcoming hosts with a peaceful property. It’s quite steep, however camping areas were sufficiently levelled for camping. My kids enjoyed riding their bikes down the property while my wife and I enjoyed the serenity around the campfire. We camped here with our 22ft caravan and accessed a site with ease. The climb out was a bit of a challenge due to wet weather, however Darryl and Veronica were happy to help. The site is about 20mins from Orange town centre.

nice campfire!!
very nice campground, good fire pit prepared by the host prior to our arrival, lots of kangaroos in the morning! Darryl and his partners are very welcoming, showed the animals to the kids. The place is really well positioned next to Orange. we had a beautiful time ! plan enough water for dishes and drink as there is not water at campsite.

Lovely quiet sites, with terrific fire boxes Lots of dry wood around. Some of the sites would be tricky slopewise, but the one we had was fine. Happy to recommend.
