These best describe this 754 hectare (1864 acres) property. Stonepine Ridge is 'remote' - your camp sites are away from any dwellings - but you are still close enough to country towns across borders. Map to get here ( https://stonepineridge.com.au/map/ ) There is plenty of space for social distancing. Most camp sites are 50 or more metres apart. The terrain is mostly treed with some cleared, pastured country. On the border with the Queensland town of Stanthorpe, Stonepine Ridge is close to the historic areas of Willsons Downfall and Amosfield in New South Wales. Home to many rivers that traverse the property from top to bottom, the Boonoo Boonoo and Bookookookarara rivers and Undercliffe and Boonoo Boono Falls are close by and are popular sites to spend a few hours walking/hiking and immersing yourself in the ambient countryside. The Boonoo Boonoo and Bald rock National Parks are also within this area. The beautiful New England town of Tenterfield is about 20 minutes drive from the falls and offers visitors many shopping and restaurant options. Be sure to stop en route to visit the World War 2 tank traps - (Australia's Maginot Line) and Thunderbolt's hideout. A short drive across the border into Queensland will give you access to the Girraween National Park and a host of wineries, coffee shops, restaurants and pubs. This camping property is large and you will find no better place that allows for gentle as well as more advanced walking, hiking and mountain biking. The altitude on the property varies from 900m at the top down to 50m to the bottom. The temperature is variable with mostly cool nights, which makes for restful sleep and a nice fire to add to the ambience.

Look there so much to do n the place is just pure gods country,, late afternoon sunset to waking up with the birds is complete paradise ,, If you like nature then this place is for you,, so stop reading n start camping 🏕️ TM

As advertised it is has a high elevation & has amazing views down the valley. Long road in has about 50 metres where I’d strongly advise a high clearance vehicle in wet weather, otherwise it’s all good if you drive carefully. I’d like to come back in better weather as we were literally in the clouds during our stay.

Bush Paddock 4 Wheel All W ONLY

Granite Belt Camping at its best

We had a wonderful stay! The Bush Paddock was secluded, close to a lovely bush setting but still open enough for us to set up camp and have a fire. Liz was a helpful and thoughtful host. We will definitely be back.

Lacking in level sites for tents. The facilities were ok but the veiw up top was beautiful, the host was very polite and friendly.

Creek View 4 Wheel All W ONLY

No crowed camping, beautiful place

We were lucky enough to have the whole place to ourselves! We had booked Rory's, but ended up staying down on Creek View. It was so peaceful and restful. The birds are lovely and the creek is a beautiful place to explore. Elizabeth has maintained it well, so access is easy. The camp sites are huge! The road in is better maintained than my local roads and it was easy to find. Thank you for leaving our wood out for us Elizabeth, we appreciated it being ready for us. Our dogs loved it. We're looking forward to revisiting and actually finding Rory's 😀 Thanks again Elizabeth.
