This property is in Northangera with the Mongarlowe River running along the boundary. It's covered in trees and provides a pristine environment amongst the "Scribbly Gums". It has flat areas with plenty of free timber for the designated fire pits. I have tried to create a haven for wildlife including Kangaroos, wombats, echidnas and platypus. I cherish the cleanliness of the river and surrounds and wish to be able to share this special environment with others who care to preserve all it offers. You can explore the property along the tracks, paddle, swim or fish in the river, enjoy the fauna, wildlife and birdlife. Located not far from Braidwood, a town steeped in history, with good shopping, coffee shops and great food. Sloping to flat land amongst the Scribbly Gum trees offering a number of sites and walks through the property. It provides both sun and shade. Access is good for vans of any size along a track through the bushland. Lovely swimming spots in the Mongalowe River, beautiful clear water, and several lovely bushwalks around the property. We offer four sites and the maximum stay is 7 nights.

River Shack
We enjoyed our stay at the rustic Scribbly Gum Cabin - the indoor wood heater was great, with plenty of wood supplied to keep us warm all night. What a beautiful peaceful and private spot, right on the river. The bird life was amazing. Probably the highlight was watching the Platypii in the river each morning and evening. The host, Phil was very friendly and gave us lots of information on the local area. It was great, very relaxing getaway.

Great isolated camping spot. There is only a small bank by the river that is accessible so you can’t really hang out there, just access for swim. Directions were a bit tricky finding the street, maybe a sign off the road would be good. The provided fire pit was great, a really nice spot, would go again

River Shack
Our favourite HipCamp yet!
Our favourite HipCamp yet!! We’ll absolutely be back to stay here again. Had the most beautiful weekend at this secluded little shack. Verandah was amazing and so roomy, loft and mattress were so comfy and cosy, perfectly equipped bush kitchen (don’t forget to byo salt and pepper!), waterhole was so beautiful and clean, firewood was plentiful! We also got lucky enough to see platypus! Thanks you so much for having us 🤎

Amazing for every camper!!
We always have such a good time there! The site is always completely spotless and the wood we bought burned so well and long. We were able to walk down to the creek whenever we wanted and overall had a really nice time. We will always recommend Phils land!!
