Riverside Farm Retreat is 13 km southeast of Narrabri. It is a horse breeding farm on the banks of the Namoi River, set over 500 acres, where guests can enjoy camping, fishing, canoeing, and relaxing. There is good access for caravans - to get to the property is all tarred roads, with no gates to open, just a cattle grid to cross. The camping area is spread over a beautiful, wide green grassed space, with plenty of level ground. There is an abundance of bird life here, including emus that roam freely, plus visiting kangaroos and cattle moseying down in the afternoon sunset to drink from the river opposite.Come stay one night, or as long as you’d like! The camping area is suitable for self-contained 5th-wheelers, caravans, campers and mobile homes. One caravan/camper trailer per site - if you have multiple caravans in your group, please book multiple sites. Fire drums are provided so you can safely enjoy a campfire (please bring your own wood). The sites are unpowered, so you'll need to have your own power source. We do however provide fresh drinking bore water and one toilet. Well-behaved pets are welcome but you need to pick up their pooh! we also ask that you please take all the rubbish when you go. Secure & fully fenced private property.

Riverside Farm Retreat
Not a fan
I would have rather have stayed at a free camp. Yes river was nice. But there was no shade and grass needed to be mowed. Disappointed I paid money for that. Toilet was yuck too

Riverside Farm Retreat
Peaceful setting
Riverside Farm Retreat was a fabulous place to camp. Very peaceful on the side of the Namoi river, it is a lovely spot to relax. We enjoyed having a fire, doing some fishing, birdwatching in a picturesque setting. Ian came around and chatted, as well as brought Darcy the farm dog who just adored a pat . We would have loved to stay longer . The property is 13kms out of Narrabri but near the turn off for Mt Kaputar , which makes a great day trip. Recommend

Riverside Farm Retreat
Flat and grassy spots on the Namoi River complete with a friendly emu. Had the place to ourselves and would definitely go back to stay a few days while exploring Mt Kaputar NP.
