A beautiful, off grid, riverside campground with amazing swimming hole on private property. This private campground is located in North West NSW. 50 minutes from Tamworth. Conveniently located 20 minutes outside the pretty town of Manilla and right on the river banks of the Namoi River. Also 20 minutes from beautiful Warrabah National Park. The campground is tucked away in a little valley overlooking an idyllic stretch of windy river with an amazing swimming hole, sandy beach, tranquil rapids and a beautiful, mesmerising, majestic rock. We have four primative campsites suited to all types of large and small, self sufficient campers in RV's, caravans, camp trailers, vans and tents. All sites are unique and positioned to enhance space and privacy as well as proximity and views of the river. They all showcase the varying, natural beauty and characteristics of the landscape. You can also book our amazing, award winning glamping tent. We are not a party campsite. Our little slice of paradise is for peace and relaxation. We also need to respect and encourage the presence and abundance of birds and animals and continue to ensure it is a peaceful and quiet home for them. You can enjoy your music just as long as other campsites and the local wildlife can't hear it. Manilla, only 20 minutes away has two dump points and water refill stations as well as a good number of shops to cater to all your needs during your stay. We are not in a high traffic area so you may get to enjoy having the place all to yourself. Our campsites have good access for all types of camp set ups and are not impacted by flooding. Nor do they become boggy in wet weather due to the high sand content in our soil. You could be sitting on the warm sandy bank overlooking the river and being captivated by the surrounding beauty and the magnificence of the swimming hole. This secret little piece of paradise has been untouched for 40 years and is home to an abundance of birdlife. Birds include the colourful Rainbow bee eaters, Kingfishers, Superb Fairy Wrens, Eastern Yellow Robins, Red Browed Finch and many more. A magical place that will delight your senses and make you feel relaxed and at peace. BYO camp toilet and leave no trace. Fish in the river; cod, cat, golden perch and carp. Well behaved dogs on leash and supervised at all times are welcome. If you would like to enquire about having the place to yourselves send me a message. There are lots of other useful videos to get a good sense of our campsite. You will also get a sense of the distance between each site. We recognise the Kamilaroi / Gomeroi people as the traditional custodians of this land.

Namoi Private Campsite

Communication and directions provided by Caroline were excellent and the campsite was as described. We enjoyed the serenity and uniqueness of the campsite and our friends enjoyed the Glamping Tent experience. Our 3 days on the Namoi River were enjoyed by the whole party.

Private & Sheltered by the River

Pristine site by the river

We spent 2 nights there last week and would have stayed longer if we could. Caroline is an excellent host, communicator and provided many tips / ideas and clear directions. We found a nice flat spot on the lower part of the site with easy walking access to the river. This place is pristine and the bird life was amazing. We even saw an echidna. A few smaller fish were caught (all released) but hear there are some big cod around. We had morning tea at the national park about 20kms up the road - again great wildlife by the river. As first timers we’d love to come back!

The Lookout with amazing views

We had a beautiful stay. We woke up to the running creek. Was peaceful and relaxing. Fishing was really good. We were lucky to have the place to ourselves. We loved and enjoyed our stay. Host was great with directions and how to get there. Caroline has put a lot of work into her directions. Thank you Caroline for all your guidance much appreciated. We loved our stay.

The Lookout with amazing views

Caroline's land has quickly become my favourite getaway, this is my second year tent camping here. The land there is absolutely beautiful, it is so peaceful and I am always sad to leave.

Grassy Grove by the swimming hole

The site was beautiful and spacious, Caroline was super helpful and friendly. We plenty of spots to walk around and chill out, no matter what sort of camper you are.
