This property has been in our family for over 42 years. 2021 was the first year we have opened up to the public. Our slice of river paradise, we are one of the largest private properties left along the Hawkesbury river in Leets Vale. The property was home to the first school in Wisemans Ferry. Set up just a few steps to the Hawkesbury River! The property has a stunning view overlooking the mountains. Mid week you will enjoy complete serenity, on weekends it can get busier with people on the river. Camp spots are a 10 minute walk from houses so you have privacy and we can maintain ours. Chilled vibes only please, no parties or groups. No pets, sorry. No facilities, campers must be self sufficient and remove all waste.

Camping with the Roos
One of the best camping experiences we’ve ever had, huge space to yourself very private, quiet river and a great place to see the stars. Very clear and easy instructions would love to stay again sometime for longer

Wombat site 1
One of the best!
This campsite is an absolute gem of a place. Bec’s property is so spacious and the views are spectacular. The sun shining over the grassy field and reflecting off the mountainous escarpments made each day we were there. The site is very level, and very well kept. the grass was mowed, an awesome fire pit is provided, and this site is has 2 big trees that provide you with privacy. The next camp site (about 150m away) can’t really be seen. So much space to spread out. We always bring our own ports potti but the outhouse/ drop pit is probably one of the best I’ve seen at a campsite. So clean, absolutely no smells from the compost. Hand washing station, toilet paper, light. Was a real treat if you are used to a porta potty when camping. This site is a short walk to the toilet, but still gives you plenty of privacy as you won’t have anyone else from the other campsites come near you. Bec was very responsive with msgs, super accommodating and her property/ camp site is very easy to find. We will definately be back! Can’t recommend highly enough.

Amazing spot on the river
Our family loved our stay at riverside escape. We stayed at wombat site so access to the water was a short walk from where we set up. We were very secluded, there were campers at the other sites and we could see them at a distance but had total privacy. The land is stunning, the weather was perfect and the outhouse was clean and super convenient. Bec’s communication and directions were great and we had no trouble finding the site. We would 100% stay here again.
