This property has been in our family for over 42 years. 2021 was the first year we have opened up to the public. Our slice of river paradise, we are one of the largest private properties left along the Hawkesbury river in Leets Vale. The property was home to the first school in Wisemans Ferry. Set up just a few steps to the Hawkesbury River! The property has a stunning view overlooking the mountains. Mid week you will enjoy complete serenity, on weekends it can get busier with people on the river. Camp spots are a 10 minute walk from houses so you have privacy and we can maintain ours. Chilled vibes only please, no parties or groups. No pets, sorry. No facilities, campers must be self sufficient and remove all waste.

its a perfect little nook tucked away by the river, sleeping under the stars and cooking breakfast on the fire right in view of the hawksbury. i will definitely be returning to the grounds to try out the other sites.

Pristine camping by the water
Beautiful property. Very well maintained, nice and expansive and good level of separation between other guests. Very easy drive from Sydney, beautiful to be right on the water. Bec was lovely, we will definitely be returning!

Kookaburra site 3
Perfect wind down!
Riverside escape is spot on! Positioned at Kookaburra site 3, we were perfectly placed with a small private jetty and right next to the boat ramp. Ignoring the jetskis and boats which is a given on the Hawkesbury, this place was exceptionally peaceful and quiet. The perfect little get away. Compost toilet was clean with no smell and the sites were well maintained. Bec provided us were clear directions and alternative routes as well given that the ferry was down for maintenance also. Added to the favorites!

Great space for families.
Great space and access to the water. 100M+ away from any your neighbours. Nice and quiet apart from the ski boats and motorbikes. Would definitely revisit.

Awesome campsite that we have been to a couple times now. I really recommend it as a place that balances being close to Sydney but still feels like you are out of the city. The sites are really well spaced apart-so you won’t be running into your neighbours.
