Riverbend is an easy accessible cattle grazing farm with diverse terrain from lush shady river flats to mountainous bush country alive with wild life with plenty of well maintained slashed tracks suitable for push bikes and walking .Riverbend has several kilometres of river access to the Cataract river with plenty of easy to access camping spots only 500m of the Bruxener HighwayCome and enjoy our river front camp site’s which are super easy to access for any vehicle and only 800 meters of the Bruxener Highway nestled in the historic area of Sandy Hill renowned for gold mining and fossicking and 30klm from our friendly town Tenterfield which has many boutique clothing collectible gift and coffee shops plus a coles and food works.Our property has 3 klm of catteract River passing through with numerous flat shady sites with swimming and fishing holes with crystal clear Water and sandy bottom.We have numerous tracks suitable for push bikes and bush walking with abundant wild life and boundary on to state forest and national parks witch have great 4x4 trails.We don’t have great mobile service but have wifi and landline service at our homestead for emergencies only minutes away.Looking forward to hosting you and enjoying our beautiful Farm with you soon.

Great creekside camp
Beautiful creekside camping, big flat campsite. Easy to find and get to with a big caravan or RV, plenty of room. Can hardly hear the highway noise which is nearly completely quiet by night time. Being winter and freezing temperatures at night, we had the whole place to ourselves, so peaceful. Creek is clear and flowing, would imagine that it would be great for swimming in the summer. Great base for exploring the local area and national parks. Richard was a great host and very friendly, checked in on us and made sure we were settled in.

Great place to camp and get away from it all. Very clean and private site beside the Cataract River. Would definitely recommend. Thanks Richard for a great stay.

Great camp site on the creek
Good location for access to the local area around Tenterfield - Girard and Boonoo Boonoo, beautiful waterfalls, etc. Richard has 3 big sites and we camped right on the creek. Camp site was excellent even in the wet weather. Friendly cows, nice back drop, plenty of wood and Richard was welcoming. Not the most isolated camping spot we have been to but great for a couple of days to get away.

Riverside was great. The site was pristine, very spacious with plenty of fire wood about. Easy access but quite private. The best part was the complete lack of "Can't Do This, Can't Do That" type of rules or requirements. Richard was very friendly and helpful but we were left to ourselves completely. Highly recommend.

We loved the beautiful peaceful surroundings. We had the place to ourselves. The kids did a bit of panning for gold in the Cataract River and enjoyed the NRL goal posts, that have been recently added. I would highly recommend staying here.
