A beautiful spot on the Macquarie river to relax, fish, swim, enjoy a camp fire or a scenic paddle in the lovely fresh water . We have a beautiful recycled timber jetty which is the perfect place to wet a line or enjoy a glass of wine. You might even be lucky enough to see a platypus or echidna. We are 5km from Dubbo, 2km from Lazy River winery by road or 1km by river. Pets are welcome but will need to be restrained due to neighbouring livestock. Camping only available - tents or camper trailers.Our 20 acre property has a beautiful golf course style lawn on the river front area. We have 2 level campsites for you to choose from, and we only ever accept one group booking at a time, so your group will enjoy the place to yourselves. It really is a beautiful spot to spend a weekend. Campfires are allowed in the designated area outside of fire ban season (April 1 - 30 September). No fires allowed from 1st October to 31st March.

Amazing location on the river!
Great location, so close to Dubbo but feels like a million miles away. Amazing hosts who make you feel very welcome on their property. Perfect stop on our road trip.

A delightful riverside stay
A delightful camping spot under tall shady gum trees on beautifully green manicured grass, right next to the Macquarie River. We had a lovely sunset swim, a view down the river and access to kitchen and bathroom facilities in the main house. Julia was extremely friendly and helpful, and we quickly made friends with the chickens! Very recommended.

Great host,lovely spot by the river
We lived camping here. Beautiful surroundings right by the river and lovely accommodating hosts. Fantastic toilets and use of hot water for our camp shower. Highly recommend.

Great spot, lovely welcoming hosts.
Great spot, lovely welcoming hosts, Julia & Len have a wonderful property minutes from Dubbo. Their lawn would make a greenkeeper green with envy, the view over the river are breath taking, it is a beautiful place, 10/10 for presentation, good facilities, both Len and Julia are great hosts and made us feel very welcome. We will stay again, views, peace and quiet, privacy and fish jumping in the river, all just a short drive into Dubbo. This is more than an overnight stop.... however given the location, TV, internet and phone reception it works well for that too. Thanks Julia & Len, see you next time! Stephen & Family

Lovely place to stay
The site was BEAUTIFUL. well maintained Power points nearby.. lights in trees. Toilet and kitchen with kettle microwave fridge freezer toaster about 50m away. Water was cold and current looked strong would probably recommend life jackets for kids +/- a rope lol. The bird life was amazing never heard birds tweeting all night long before! Simple to find. Good communication.
