Our property is situated on the North Coast of NSW, 1.5 hours south of Byron Bay in a glorious climate. It is unique because we have 5 acres of land, lots trees for shade, mowed grass and Eastern Grey kangaroos visit morning and evening. Situated in a very quiet neighbourhood, no street lights, magic night skies but only 10 minutes drive to local shops in Maclean, 15 minutes to Yuraygir National Park, fantastic views at Brooms Head, 15 minutes to Yamba's renowned surfing beaches. Did I mention fishing? Clarence River, ocean beaches, boat ramps only 10 minutes away. Only a small number of campsites which ensures that you have space to spread out, light a fire, play ball, have fun. We have a toilet and water available close to sites. Suits tent camping, camper vans, caravans or vehicles. Plenty of room for boat parking if needed. You are welcome to bring your dog, as long as it is under control, and cannot chase our kangaroos. Birdlife in abundance as well, including 3 Wedgetail eagles on occasions. In order to provide a quiet environment for everyone we ask that there be no loud music at night. Consider others in the locality at all times.All sites have ample space for a family with 50 metres separating each site. Ample trees for shade or sunny spots as required. Temperatures range from 30degrees in summer to 20 degrees in winter. Overnight 10-17 degrees.

Amazing campground
What an incredible stay! Really exceeded our expectations. Firstly, Barry was so accommodating to our delayed schedule and so friendly. He even had a portable shower ready for us and the toilet in the backyard was also really well kept. The location is amazing, we woke up surrounded by two families of kangaroos! We wish we could have stayed an extra night but had to hit the road for our roadtrip. Thank you Barry!

Peaceful hideaway
The camp area is beautiful with lots of trees, dedicated fire-pits (with some wood provided) and enough privacy between sites. The sites are all level and the toilet was clean and easy to use. There were many kangaroos about and we woke up to a chorus of bird-song. Pack some mozzie repellent for the early evening.

I loved what this land had to offer. Both Barry and his beautiful wife Ling were amazing from the moment I arrived to when I left. I got spoilt while there and I had the whole place to myself. I even get to test out the new addition to their camping ground..the portable shower. It was warm and if you love outdoor showers then you would love this new addition too. Thanks Barry and Ling 🙌

Camping with kangaroos
Barry is a very thoughtful host and ensured we had a great spot to camp. The block is very picturesque and the abundance of wildlife amazing! There was a regular group of kangaroos hopping right past our camper, along with some gorgeous ducks. The location is absolutely perfect for exploring the area. Barry supplied wood for fire pit and a clean toilet.
