Peaceful Pond is our 10-acre property in bushland, just 15 minutes from the village of Karuah, NSW. The pond has an island, reached via a floating bridge. Enjoy the tranquility of listening to the abundant birdlife, or swim in the cool, clear water, among the waterlilies. If you prefer more activity you can paddle a kayak or go for a bush walk. There are pushbikes available to ride through the bush tracks to the river, if you feel energetic. You may see wallabies and kangaroos, goannas, and even echidnas. The dark night skies are ablaze with stars for you to enjoy. Tim and Vicki will welcome you with some fresh eggs for your breakfast, and give you access to drinking water from their rainwater tank. We offer several camping sites tucked around the property. All for self-contained campers, with no access to power or running water, so campers must have their own toilet. Fires are permitted in firepits provided when weather and fire ratings allow. Firewood is provided. Pets are welcome, as long as they are on a lead or under close control, to ensure the safety of the wildlife. Relax, unwind, and listen to the sounds of nature.

We had a lovely, couple of nights at Peaceful Pond. Tim and Vickie are welcoming and respectful hosts. Would highly recommend for a quiet get away.

Peaceful Pond is just that - peaceful! We had a couple of lovely days despite unsettled weather. The Pond Site is very picturesque and our dogs loved the fact they could free range. Tim was available if we needed him but also gave us our space. A great Hipcamp to stay at if you just want some quiet relaxing time.

Camping with friends and fur babies
It was nice and peaceful, Tim and his mum very lovely people. The pond was beautiful having kayaks there to use in pond and other floating items for use. The floating bridge well it’s was the high light of our trip hubby fell in, there is a knack to get across it and it was fun. Tim also had cut up fire wood for us to have at night. We would highly recommend this place if you want a relaxing place to just chill by the pond and fire at night. We will return again.

Beautiful place. Great family camp!
This was an absolute oasis made even better with the Hospitality of Tim and Vicky. From meeting us at the gate for entry to giving us fresh home grown eggs for breakfast, their homeliness was not unnoticed. Tim gave us firewood to keep the fire going all night and morning. We bought our dog who just swam and swam and swam in the pond and the kids were playing on the Kayaks provided or in the tree house the whole time. There were no other campers when we went for one night and it was just spectacular to go to sleep with the sounds of crickets and frogs and wake up to the sounds of birds. We WILL be back. Absolutely AMAZING!!
