The showground is located in the heart of Oberon, a small rural community located just 2.5 hours from Sydney. Situated on a plateau at a height of 1130m above sea level, Oberon is on the western fall of the Blue Mountains. Enjoy the nearby spectacular scenery, Jenolan Caves, alpine lake, Mayfield and other fabulous cool climate gardens. The showground is a short walk to shops and restaurants, pubs and clubs. The Visitors information Centre is conveniently just across the road. Pets welcome on leash and under control.Oberon Showground offers primitive camping on gently sloping sites. Close to to town, full use of amenities, water and power for $20 a night. Great spot to set up base camp for our 22ft caravan and explore the region

Great winter getaway
Centrally located to town centre. Love waking up to the sounds of horses exercising in the tracks next to camp site. Plenty of level ground. Good clean grounds. Local markets were on, awesome array of local produce. Great stay overall. Pretty town. Rug up in winter, it gets pretty cold.

Oberon Showground Campsite
The grounds were well kept, amenities were very clean and showers nice and hot. We met two lovely ladies that take care of the campgrounds and it’s quite within walking distance to town.

Nice campground with power, water.
Campsite was clean and lotsa power and water for our campervan. Love the wide camping ground! Response was fast and swift to queries too. The campground’s on a slope though so arrive early if you want to secure the relatively even ones. Good location and within walking distance to the Visitor center and Oberon’s Main Street. The kebab there is nice too.

Winter caravan stay
Great quiet spot. Local markets were on the Saturday we stayed and was a quick walk up the hill. Stayed with friends and our dog. Facilities modern, clean and tidy. Was a most enjoyable stay! Definitely recommend, make sure you rug up in the winter 😊
