Located near the historic village of Murringo, 24 kilometres east of Young in a pretty valley you will find out campsites as the base of mountain with a picturesque dam close by. There is plenty of space for a number of campsites and most ground is even. Please be aware that the campsite may be inaccessible in inclement weather, 4WD is recommended- check with your host before arrival. You can enjoy a lovely walk up the nearby mountain or just relax in the beautiful environment and listen to the sounds of nature. There is nothing but you and the bush and surrounding farmland. 25 minutes from Koorawatha, they have a monthly Saturday market, where you can explore a variety of stalls and get some fresh local produce. Campfires are are welcome, please try to use areas where there has been a fire previously. Your host, Penny is on hand at the main homestead, should you need a hand with anything. Pets are welcome.
