Mt Terrace is a 2500 acre property hidden in the Warrumbungle mountains, it supports a wide variety of animals and bush land to explore as well as creeks, waterfalls and its own mountain range. Surrounded by the Warrumbungle national park & Australia's only sky park, it has a lot to offer and explore. Enjoy piece and quiet with a selection of 3 camp sites to choose from, you'll have pleny of space and privacy.   Access is relatively easy you will not need a 4wd but low city cars are not suitable . Fires are permitted in designated areas and within season. Pets are allowed. All campers must have their own supplies and be self sufficient as we do not supply any amenities, camper trailers are welcome however we do not accept caravans at this stage. Come check us out!

Monkey Rock Camp
Beautiful camp and view
We stayed at monkey rock for longer than we had originally planned as it’s such a perfect camp spot and the view of the warrumbungles is spectacular. The camp itself had a firepit, was nice and large and visited by kangaroos. Very idillic. James was a great host!

Black wattle
Great site, amazing views at James's property, and wonderful hospitality. The site was suitable for my 2WD van, and we arrived just in time to see some of the Warrumbungles peaks light up in the sunset.

What a great property. Beautiful location well situated for exploring the nearby Warrumbungles. James is very friendly and helpful. We loved the private camp site looking straight at Mt Exmouth. We'll be back again.

Monkey Rock Camp
Fabulous!
We were booked in for Monkey Rock Camp but actually ended up staying at Black Wattle camp. We had 4 small children and the spot was perfect for us. We enjoyed doing some walks around the property and spotting the mountain goats up on the mountain. We had a fantastic time! James Abn’s Stewart were great hosts. Would highly recommend a stay here. We will be back!

Warrumbungles Dreamland
2nd time visiting and can’t rave enough about this place!! Right at the base of the Warrumbungles.. wake up to Kangaroos, sheep, cows, Emus and a wide variety of birdlife!! Be aware that the road in is clay so will become very slippery and potentially you may get stuck with city style cars. James and his Dad are legends and the locals couldn’t be more lovely. The night sky is beyond words.. Keen for our next trip!
