Our 1200 acre property has sheep, cattle and mixed cropping, and is a regenerative property located approx 20 minutes west of Glen Innes. Morilla is now run by 3rd generation farmers. We have beautiful views from various vantage points and gorgeous creeks that run through the property in which campers get to enjoy. The creek is a safe and perfect place for children to play and swim and offers the ideal location for a picnic. You will get to spot some of our stock wandering the paddocks, along with a variety of wildlife that pass through. Our sky is big and you can watch it come to life at night with stars . Our surrounds are quiet, private and peaceful. Our camping sites allow for both small and large groups . Each campsite has a designated fire pit. Fallen timber may be collected for fires (no chainsaws please), or alternatively firewood may be purchased on arrival. Most sites have 2WD access, however high clearance all-wheel drive recommended for some sites. While away your days picnicking by the creek and watching the sunset, or explore the surrounding National Parks and other attractions that the Glen Innes area has to offer. Morilla looks forward to welcoming you and sharing our little slice of nature.Camp beside the gorgeous Back Plains Creek, on maintained grassy sites. The sites are just off the dirt driveway, only 1km off the main road and have their own campfire area.  Spend your time by the creek, under the shade of the gum trees and keep an eye out for grazing stock and roaming deer and other wildlife. We have beautiful views from various vantage points and gorgeous creeks that run through the property in which campers get to enjoy.  The creek is a safe and perfect place for children to play and swim and offers the ideal location for a picnic.  Campfires are permitted. Fallen timber may be collected and used - or split wood can be purchased on arrival. Please note campfires are dependent on fire bans. You need to be a self-contained camper with your own camping toilet/shower, and drinking water. We are located 20mins from Glen Innes for all your supplies and groceries. We have 8 sites available - campers may choose which they prefer on arrival and depending on availability. The campsites are 2WD accessible, but we have four sites where high clearance all-wheel drives are recommended. If you're unsure, please message us to discuss your vehicle. No pets please. Do you love fresh espresso coffee first thing in the  morning?? Just because you're camping doesn't mean you have to skip your morning ritual. Hot coffees can be delivered to your site - just ask us for more details when you arrive.

Beautiful quiet spot on the banks of a picturesque babbling brook. It was lovely to have the grass under our feet and plenty of dappled sunlight, and protection from the wind. Camp sites are flat, grassy and since open fires are a must when camping, it was a bonus having the pits set up with enough wood lying around to have the fire going for as long as we needed to cook our steaks and enjoy the ambiance. Bird life also beautiful.

Very welcoming hoists
Great spot to get off the grid but not far away from town if you need supplies. The property has great natural views and plenty of wild life around. The owners had meat packs available for purchase from the property which tasted great. We were also treated to a tour of the property and got cuddle some miniature donkeys which the kids loved.

Welcome to Morilla Rd
Brigitte, Sid & family were so welcoming on their beautiful property, Morilla Rd, just 12kms out of Glenn Innes. They invited us to meet their 2 adorable Miniature Donkeys and contented 'Fat Pig' and offered us the opportunity to try some of their succulent T-Bone Angus steaks. Close proximity to town made sight seeing easy, as well as provided a peaceful, idyllic camp site.

Creekside campsite
A short drive from Glen Innes lies a lovely peaceful campsite close to a running creek. The hosts were friendly and accommodating. We had a great stay.
