Miranda Springs Site 3
Stayed at site 3 with good balance of sun and shade. No other campers present which made it very private - though the sites are reasonably close together for a bush setting. Would have liked to have been a little more central to Murrumbateman wineries but there’s not many options! Fire drum all set up and lots of small firewood close by the sites to collect. We enjoyed our stay!

Perfect hideaway
What a wonderful secluded and beautiful spot this is.
A much needed calm place after the hustle of the city but so close you’d think it was much further out.

Brilliant property, great hosts.
Plenty of space & secluded. Perfect.
We'll definitely be back. Around the corner from the capital too

Peaceful Campsite Near Canberra
We enjoyed the peace and quiet of this campsite, and, although there were 4 other sites on this property, it was very easy to assume you were on your own. The site was clear and flat, with easy access for our 8 metre caravan. Our host, Janice, was very welcoming and treated us to a dozen eggs from her free range hens. We caught up with friends in nearby Casey, as well as visiting Cockington Green, which is also only 15 minutes drive. We stayed for 3 nights, look forward to returning when next in the ACT, and recommend this property to anyone looking for a self contained, off grid campsite near Canberra.

perfect farmstay location
What a fantastic location! Despite our last-minute plans to camp here, the host was incredibly accommodating, greeting us upon arrival with a car full of firewood. He was quite friendly, engaging in conversation about our trip and visit to Canberra. The site is on a sheep farm, so there are plenty of sheep and lambs around, but they're quite timid and keep to themselves. There's an abundance of fallen wood for fires, so there's no need to purchase any from the service station.
During our stay, we shared the space with two other groups of campers - one in a large caravan and a young family in tents. We spent the evening around the fire having great conversation, which truly enhanced our experience. The starry sky was breathtaking. The site is easily accessible by 2WD and suitable for any type of camping.
I would definitely return.

Miranda Springs Site 3
Big level sites, easy to find and great access. We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 nights at site 3 in our caravan. It was very relaxing to sit outside by the campfire watching the sheep in the paddock. Site 3 gets the morning sun and beautifully shaded in the afternoon. We will be back!
