Hi there please come to explore and relax at beautiful Bellangry, in the scenic Mid North-Coast hinterland. We are located on a special part of Birpai land on the way to stunning swimming holes and Bellangry State forest. Join us early in our journey to regenerate former dairy farm land. Using gentle methods we aim to bring the soil back to life and you are invited to enjoy some of our seasonal organically grown produce and other local goodies to purchase if you wish ! We are so lucky to have landed in such a wonderful community and would love to share it with you. Secluded camp sites are our specialty and in warm weather you can cool off in the creek which has access to a number of swimming holes, or our clear, spring fed dam - we love swimming there and we have a small canoe free to use. 35 minutes from the beautiful beaches of Port Macquarie and Laurieton, 20 minutes from cute Wauchope and its boutique shops and 12 from Beechwood with its awarded country pub.

The Big Valley View
Awesome experience!
This was one of the best, if not the best, hipcamp places we've stayed at. Sarah & Mal were super helpful and accommodating. The creek was absolutely stunning and the spring fed dam was so refreshing to swim in. It was so nice to camp somewhere with wide open spaces and no one in sight. The dog had an awesome time too! The driveway was a bit rough, but that's to be expected on a property. It wasn't an issue for us, but there were a couple of nervous drivers in our group and Mal was great with coming over and directing them the best way to go. We all agreed that we'd have to come back, it was just a great place to stay.

The Big Valley View
Enjoyed a lovely and relaxing few days. Site is a bush block that is private but was slightly overgrown. Plenty of birdlife and felt totally safe. Please note, access is by 4WD only. 2WD cars and low lying vans may not get up steep and rutted out incline to enter the site. Mal and Sarah were easy and lovely to deal with. It was great having access to a toilet however you do need a bucket to flush it. Felt the toilet wasn’t overly private as despite a privacy screen there is no door and Mal frequents the shed often to grab items for working on the land. The only thing worth mentioning for those that may have little ones is given the shed is being turned into accommodation, there is a lot of stuff lying around the shed (where swing for kids is) that could be dangerous for little ones. We don’t have little ones so didn’t worry us (see pics so you can make your own determination). None of this detracted from our stay, we did enjoy ourselves and hope to visit again. Thank you Mal and Sarah

Romantic 2WW tent with campfire
The host Malcolm was amazing! The actual site needed serious 4WW to reach ~3min from main road which my 2WW sedan could have never done - but till then the road from Port Macquarie was good/tarred. We got a quadbike lift (with ample spaace to bring out tent etc) from our car to the hilltop tent site. there is another site you can barely see with a bulding on another hilltop. There was a compostable toilet and a campfire site with plenty of natures kindling and tinder lying around. We bough plenty of woodfire to last through the night off the host - drops the logs off at the campfire! Shade with trees nearby and otherwise open flat hilltop & 2 log seats. Some wind overnight in ouy Copper Spur 3P UL tent withstanding it very well. Secluded with the glimpse of civilisation from afar making you not feel too lonely. Away from roads - you could sometimes hear fast cars driving by, but easily forgettable. We got dropped off by quadbike at ~3pm and picked up at our convenient time of 1100 the next day. Overall if you have a 2WW and a tent and your own water supply & food (can buy eggs, firewood & veggies from host) & want a romantic getaway and a chill night by the fire (learn how to make one on youtube) - this is a fantastic place about 45min from Port Macquarie, NSW! Hosts aer very responsive, friendly/jovial and helpful! (their house is within 5min quadbike ride from this site - you will well adn truly have privacy)

Serene nd beautiful
Lovely mountain view and awesome stars. A very big area to choose your spot. The other camp area is a long distance away. We stayed near the fire and loo. Able to have our dog off leash most of the time. Beautiful spot!
