Be sure to explore our array of offerings: Maiden Jewel Camping beckons with diverse camping areas: The Waterhole 1: A communal haven boasting 20 campsites, nestled by serene dams teeming with Silver Perch and Murray Cod. While facilities include portaloos without showers, the allure of kayaking or cooling off in the dam awaits. Accessible via 4WD, guests can traverse the trails on foot or by bike. Pet-friendly, but leashes are recommended due to abundant wildlife. Picturesque Maiden Jewel: Spanning the rest of the property, it hosts over 50 campsites, both Private and Communal. The Long Flat Waterhole 2: Positioned at the property's front, offering easy access to a delightful swimming dam. Ideal for families, it features vast open spaces for recreational activities. Camping here grants access to all waterholes on the property. BYO Horse Riding Pass
Absolutely awesome, will recommend this to all of my equine friends. Jane was the perfect host, cook and trail boss. Her hospitality was brilliant and her property is an absolute gem. It features beautiful dams deep enough to swim horses and picturesque views. Set at the foot of the Wingen Maid mountain is nothing short of exquisite. The rocks and caves in the wall of the mountain changes its look every hour of the day as the sun sweeps over.

BYO Horse Riding Pass
Still buzzing!
Flexibility to ride when, where and with who you wanted, including swimming your horse in the dam and use of the round yard. Dogs and non riders allowed. Spectacular property and wonderful host.

The Waterhole
The Jewel
We had an awesome weekend at Maiden Jewel, set up at the “View”, 280degree views all the way up the Murrurundi range. With so many different places to camp we look forward to going back again. Our hosts Jane and Malcom were great, very accommodating and keen for us to explore.

The Waterhole
It was so wonderful to have so much space and freedom on their massive property! The dam was refreshing on the hot weekend and the loos were clean and not smelly at all!!! Thanks for being such fabulous hosts!
