Gallop in! Some sites cater to Hipcampers on horseback.
On Maggies Farm, you'll find stunning peaceful views across the countryside from an elevated position. We have 10 acres, so plenty of space to spread out, and your horses and dogs are welcome. We just ask that you keep dogs supervised at all times. The farm is conveniently located to explore the towns and activities in the local region. There is a river about a 5-minute drive from the farm, and beautiful beaches are just 30 minutes away. The friendly township and local pub of Cobargo are just down the road, ideal for a walkabout and a meal. Tilba is also just 30 minutes away and makes for a great day trip, with some lovely boutiques and beautiful countryside walks. Bermagui and Narooma are also close and worth visiting. All campers need to be completely self-sufficient, with their own toilet, power, and water. What we lack in facilities on site, we more than make up for in views and tranquility. You will feel on top of the world - set your van or tent up, overlooking the rolling fields of Wandella. The campsites are quiet, away from the noise and bustle of life. Here you can do lots or just nothing! We have two flat sites away from one another and a paddock that is able to be played in or used for your horse. The paddocks are properly fenced with barbed wire. You must bring your own toilet, power, and water, and we kindly ask you to take all waste when you go.

Maggie’s Farm
Beautiful sweeping views, quiet and private camping sites, great location. Note that after heavy rain you risk being bogged down if using the lower site, which is accessed via a grassy slope which gets very slippery. We got bogged in our van and a fellow camper had to winch us out which took 2 hours and was quite stressful. Our host had warned us about access to that site and advised that we use the higher site when it was free on our first night. But they probably hadn’t anticipated the extent of the trouble we would get into when using the lower site. We were their first guests and we trust that they learned much from this experience and will have a contingency plan to avoid placing guests at risk in future heavy rain events. Maria and Annabelle
