Llandillo is a picturesque 700 acre property located 11 kms from Emmaville, and 55kms from Glen Innes in the northern New England region. It has 2kms of Severn river access along its southern boundary, which offers great fishing and wildlife watching opportunities. We run a small sheep farming enterprise on the northern more open half of the property, and the southern part running down to the river is natural bushland. Activities include fishing, bushwalking, mountain biking, fossicking, bird watching or getting to know some of our much adored farm animals. We offer accommodation in our a two-bedroom cabin. Our homely cabin offers a tranquil place to stay and enjoy the sounds of birds singing in the trees. Our cabin includes one double bed, two single beds and two double lounges that turn into sofa beds. We have a friendly old Wallaroo who lives around the cabin. Many other wallaby’s and kangaroos can be seen from the windows. It is a great place to relax reading a good book, catch up on well deserved rest or use as a base for outdoor activities. The cabin also has a large firepit out the back where our guests are welcome to have a campfire or cook a meal over the coals. Firewood will be supplied. There is a picnic area with a large open firepit and toilet just meters from the waters edge. Many unique animals have been seen at the river, including spotted Quolls, Platypus, fireflies, Deer, Goats, Kangaroos, wallabies and many species of birds. Guests are able to walk the entire 2km of river fishing or just enjoying the free flowing water. Nine times out of ten Murray Cod are caught along any part of the river on our fishing adventures. BYO fishing gear. Catch and release is appreciated however if guests would like to keep one to eat, they are welcome. Llandillo Cabin
Wonderful family holiday
We had such a lovely stay. The cabin was comfy and Michael and Tiarna were so helpful and welcoming. Access down to the river was an easy drive and the kids loved fossicking and swimming. It’s also worth a drive down to town to check out the museum and the local pub for a good feed. Thank you again for having us!

Beautiful scenic stay
We very much enjoyed our stay despite the cold wet weather's best efforts. The wood fire was awesome and the kitchen was well stocked with all the cooking utensils and cutlery we could ever want. The scenery was beautiful, to the point we wanted to spend more time exploring. We will definitely be back in the near future.

The peace and calm your looking for
Fantastic location with the Severn river to explore and scenic farm to enjoy. Farm house has everything you need, great hot water, fully stocked kitchen, comfy living area, and a wood fire stove foe the chilly nights. The location and property was exactly what our family with young children was looking for with the farm feeling like it was all to our selves as you don't need to touch base with the owners if you don't want too.

Llandillo Cabin
A perfect place to escape the daily grind and recharge. Easy to find via Google maps and not too far out of town. The cabin has plenty of space, washing machine and a well kitted out kitchen - just don't forget to do a shop before arrival!! The fireplace is a fantastic addition for the colder months, and was much appreciated during our stay with one morning falling to -5° however the cabin held the heat quite well. Unfortunately winter for us to camp is out of the question but we did go for a drive down to the riverside where they have a great position to pitch and build a fire. That may be on the cards for another trip away. The Mining museum in at Emmaville is an amazing place to visit full of history and geological collections. Take some coin with you as entry is by donation box plus you may find yourself a souvenir or 3 :) And don't forget to pop across the road for a steak sanga lunch at the pub! Many thanks to Tiarna and Michael for sharing their amazing space with us xox

As a family we have enjoyed every single moment we were at the property. It is big, lots of space for activities and many secrets fishing spots. The hosts were nice and helpful and the weather was wonderful. Would definitely recommend this quiet place for a retreat.
