A piece of paradise in the New England region of northern NSW. This region is renowned for being prime cattle grazing country and you’d be staying on our filling operating cattle property with stunning views to the north overlooking Grahams Valley. It is situated in a peaceful rural setting with, clean, crisp mountain air. The elevation is approximately 1293 metres and in winter there are frosts and the occasional snowfall. The camping area is grassed, level, and spacious, and has access to power, rainwater, and toilet. Campfires are permitted when conditions allow, and we're also pet-friendly! We look forward to sharing our piece of paradise with you.Set up camp within our mown area overlooking the mountain vista to the north. Power and pressurised rainwater are available to connect (at the shed) and you'll have access to the laundry/bathroom available. Firewood and kindling are supplied for your own campfire. Larger booking groups by request. You’ll be next to our shed and horse yards but well clear of our home so you’re likely to see very few others and will have the place completely to yourselves after hours. We are an operational cattle property and have our own (friendly) farm dogs.

Outstanding spot - great facilities
Annabelle & Dave the owners were very welcoming! Beautiful spot, clean crisp mountain air. Awesome amenities, clean bathroom and shower hot with good water pressure! Laundry was an added bonus. Dave the caretaker with his little dog Pepper were the stand outs! Nothing was too much trouble, collected us firewood and up for a chat but also let us soak in the peaceful surrounds. Easy to find, easy to park and a fabulous HipCamp all round!

Nice view and amenities
I enjoyed staying here, it’s pretty rare to have a campsite with a great view, and set amongst shady trees, with a campfire and a beautiful bathroom and water and power available. I wanted to do some fossicking, which is why I stayed in the Glen Innes area. It is a long way from my home so I don’t know if I’d go back unless I especially wanted to do fossicking again - nothing against this Hipcamp. Ironically the nearest recommended fossicking area (Mann River Bridge) was actually inaccessible due to major bridgeworks on the road there (not the Hipcamps fault of course). The Glen Innes info centre was not aware of this but I have informed them. It was extremely windy for most of our stay and I had to keep taking my gazebo down and couldn’t set up my camp - so I was living out of the car a lot. I believe it was unseasonal and also not the Hipcamps fault, I am aware they can’t control the weather, but it’s worth mentioning so people considering staying here check the reports and bring plenty of tie downs etc. The site is fairly exposed. The area was well looked after and mostly pretty, except for some storage sheds, tanks and piles of pipes and feed troughs. The farm dogs came to visit each day and were always around. The stars were incredible at night time. Milky Way, satellites, shooting stars all visible. Dave is a friendly dude, he lives at the back of the clearing and was always around.

Awesome stay!
We loved our stay here! It was quiet and peaceful. We also enjoyed the horses and cows and dogs…our dog Franklin had a ball running around with the owners dog Truffle 😁👏🏻 Easy to park up the van, level site and fantastic shower and toilet facilities. Throw in free firewood and you’ve got yourself an awesome stay! Will definitely be back 👍🏻😁
