We invite you to camp on our 100 acre block, of which 60% is natural bush. The property sits high on the ridge of the Wingecarribee River and offers 3 walking tracks and loads of bush climbing opportunities for the more adventurous. There is great bird life and Australian native wildlife. If you are looking for a night under the stars our property is perfect for star gazing. Dogs are welcome on leash and under control, we have 3 dogs, 2 horses, 3 cats a donkey, an alpaca and breed a variety of free ranging birds including peacocks, chooks, ducks and guinea fowl. There are no restroom facilities on the property, campers will need to be self contained and leave no trace. We can set up table and chairs if need be. There is a bountiful supply of wood for a camp fire and fresh water is available for drinking if advised ahead of arrival. We are 30 mins from Mittagong or 20 mins from Berrima where you will find excellent restaurants and village shopping, markets, the Berrima Goal, cellar doors, world class distilleries and more. The historic town of Joadja and the Joadja Distillery is 20 mins down the hill - one of the Southern Highlands best distilleries and tours. We have a variety of hampers available if you're in the mood to spoil yourselves. Fresh seafood is a specially in our locally owned restaurant in Mittagong - Glass Cafe and Bistro - which enables you to pick up on your way through town or delivered to you at your camp site.

Site 1 - Wali Gnana Camp
Highly recommend
Group of 6 of us booked Wali Gnana an hour before checking in. Check in instructions were extremely easy and instant. Leanne was extremely friendly and accomodating, giving us plenty of information about the site such as things to do and see. This particular site was huge and all to ourselves. Very private and away from other camp sites in the property. Would highly recommend 👍

Site 1 - Wali Gnana Camp
What a fantastic spot to camp! It had plenty of room, with complete peace and quiet and yet didn’t feel too far away from town for some necessities. Highly recommend Camp Spot 1!

Site 2 - Sunset
Great site
We stayed at the gorge site not sunset site. Very secluded spot. Feels like you are in the middle of nowhere. Morning birdsong was great - especially the lyre birds. Great views of the gorge. Quite bushy and lots of gum trees. If you want grass and more open skies, sunset or the paddock site are better. We liked the feeling of being near the cliff edges. Owners were great and very kindly fixed up the 4wd track so I could easily acces with my off road camper trailer. They supplied heaps of firewood and were very accommodating. Very close to Sydney so it’s a nice getaway.

Winter Warmer
Lovely winter weekend getaway with the dog and roaring 🔥. Perfect for those who love locally sourced spirits - we had a wonderful afternoon down the road at Joadja Distillery.

The Gorge Campsite
Great campsite, hidden gem.
We loved our stay at the Gorge site. Fantastic views, ample walks and exploring to be had. Lovely host who was on the ball when we needed anything but also very happy to leave us be in the beautiful peace of the gorge. You know a place is special when you ditch your plans for the region and spend time there instead.
