Welcome to a small sanctuary where camping meets relaxation and learning amidst nature's bounty. # Nestled within the township of Crookwell, our 3 hectare mini farm, offers two idyllic camping options: a walk in site near the tranquil creek, or vehicle camping near our vibrant seasonal garden. # We offer a special focus on providing a safe haven for solo travelers, and families wanting to explore rural life. # Meet John, our resident agronomist, and Juanita, as they share their passion for sustainable agriculture. # An array of seasonal food and vibrant flowers grow in our biodiverse permaculture garden. Seasonal produce is often for sale. # Guests are welcome to immerse themselves in the rhythms of farm life,. Watch Shep, the Maremma dog, caring for sheep and free-ranging fowls, or just simply chill out. # Explore the rich tapestry of Upper Lachlan Shire, the Shire of Villages. It's potato country, also sheep and beef country. Spring lambs are everywhere. # A short stroll across the paddock, and you will find yourself in the heart of the town, where the aroma of freshly brewed coffee beckons. # We offer a unique camping experience where learning, rest, sustainability, and community converge.A 'rural nook' in town. Great for those who want the best of both worlds. A BASE to explore cafe's, the shire of villages, laze and read etc OR RELAX PLUS LEARN 'hands on' in a large seasonal permaculture market garden alongside master gardener, John. Join Juanita in processing the garden produce, jam and pickle making, stringing onions, processing garlic, whatever the current task of the season, you are welcome to participate, ask questions, come and go. BUY IN SEASON: veggies, fruit, berries, preserves, flowers and eggs. JnJ will host a home cooked meal from the garden with sufficient notice. One group only using the property so you share the 3 hectares with John and Juanita during your stay. Families are welcome. Contact us re special deals. Walk across the paddock to the pedestrian bridge over the creek and you are two blocks from the main street! Shep the Maremma guardians the sheep, ducks, chickens and cows. Animals sounds may add to the country nightlife. There is ambient light at night but still lovely starry sky. Crookwell is a busy little town by day but very quiet at night.

Comfortable convenient stay
I loved van camping on J&Js lovely little farm - it was close enough to easily walk to the Main Street and the amenities were spot on and perfectly clean. I felt very safe staying there - especially with the farm dog looking after me.
