Jerrapark is just far enough away from towns and cities to feel remote and wild. Some guests have remarked half joking that as they enter the property it feels a bit more like Jurassic Park. A section of the farm has been preserved as rainforest…where towering palms and ghost like eucalypts stand over boulder strewn creeks that sometimes flood with roaring force. Everywhere there are wallabies, goannas and the weather sentinels…the black cockatoos. Bird lovers will find it is an excellent place to go birdwatching.
Take a stroll through the verdant pecan forest where our horses graze…sit by the bubbling creek…and if you are very quiet you just might glimpse a platypus foraging. When the weather turns hot and steamy take a splash in one of the dams or wander down and sit under the waterfall that cascades most months of the year. Here is a wonderful place to meditate…a primal grotto watched over by towering gums and palms.

Later reconnoitre up the hill and glimpse our small part of the ancient caldera with Mt Warning (Wollumbin) in the distance. While you are there pick some ripe mangoes and take them home for a sweet treat.
Back at the carriages the herb garden will assault your senses with the aroma of wild basil, thyme, lavender, lemon balm and mint…weaving a spell to enthuse you to cook up something mouth-watering in the kitchen.Relax and soothe in nature on our Green Paradise for a Luxury Farmstay. If you are after a unique country escape, our authentic 1930s train carriages will take you to your Northern Rivers Region Journey. Our train carriages are comprised of 4 cabins, each with 2 “couchette” beds, which can be converted into one double bed or two single beds depending on your needs.
JerraPark Hideway is the ideal place for groups gatherings, retreats, seminars, workshops, clinics, etc.

A large covered deck shelters a modern and fully equipped open kitchen and tables next to the fireplace. The place has 2 shared showers and 2 shared toilets with all you need for your stay.
On the large deck lives a restful and private daybed with coffee table for those who like to chill out around a cuppa.
The deck can also host your private party, your workshop or retreat, depending what you have in mind.
A little further down, a recently finished pavilion is housing a wooden heated plunge pool and sauna, and an inviting open fire pit becomes a convivial place to enjoy a glass of wine and stargaze in the evening with your family and friends.
Our 34 acres permaculture property will delight you with its numerous orchards and a cornucopia of fruits, its wide variety of trees, its gorgeous little waterfall tightly nestled in a beautiful palm valley, its swimming dam, and fabulous walking tracks throughout.
Jerrapark is nestled in the heart of the beautiful Northern Rivers Caldera, surrounded by the lush nature of the Border Ranges and Mt Warning National Parks. It is an ideal base camp for those who want to discover the Rainbow Region.
