A 200 acre horse breeding property on the outskirts of Tamworth. 6 minutes to the Country Music Capital CBD. Lots of shady trees to camp or park your van/RV. Hills that you can see forever from the top of.... Some outdoor seating. There's two flush toilets, two hot showers. Dogs are welcome but must be strictly on a lead at all times. There is a dog run available if you want to leave your dog and go to town or the Country Music Festival. Generally most people stay and camp near the horse barn. Indoor shower and toilet available and there is a outdoor hot shower and a sink and a tub to rub a dub dub. Laundry is available. Ask for the key ($5) The outdoor shower is private but has no roof so you can shower under the stars. Picnic table provided and a fire pit to barbecue in winter (fire bans in summer) Transported horses are also welcome...yards available. Price is per person. Great place to stay! The campsite is a little hilly so will need ramps and stabilisers. Dawn is an incredible host and happy to help in any way. Flushing toilets and hot showers is a big bonus.

Hillside by name,hillside by nature
If you have time and equipment to set up wheel levelling this is an interesting place to stay, but if you’re after pristine amenities and flat sites, it’s probably not for you. I’ve stayed here a few times but this will be my last. Arriving from an 11 hour drive there were no flatter spots left (almost all slope in both directions but some are better than others). Amenities as others have said are more camp clean than actual clean which doesn’t really bother me, but now the fan in the shower and toilet container doesn’t seem to be working. Fragrant. Between that, the sloping site and the increasingly busy road behind the camping paddock, there are better places to be found. Plus side - beautiful horses, friendly farm dog, option of rustic outdoor private shower.

We loved our short stay with Dawn. The property is lovely and it was great to have a shower and toilets onsite. Dawn took us for a drive up to the highest point on her land so we could see the beautiful view. We would recommend this camping spot.
