We are in the beautiful Northern Rivers of NSW, twelve kms from the Queensland border, travelling down through the picturesque Lions Road and thirty kilometers to the south of us is the beautiful township of Kyogle. We run cattle and horses, and one very friendly dog (Skye). We have a freshwater creek running through the property, which is great for a cool dip in the warmer weather. Wallabies roam through the property with many colourful birds living and nesting in the surrounding trees and stumps during nesting season. Other wildlife can be spotted like platypus, although shy will show their faces if you sit quietly by the creek in the early mornings. Nearby are the Border Ranges National Park with wonderful walks from as little as ten to fifteen minutes drive. There are also lookouts and walking tracks abundant both close by and in the national parks around the Kyogle area. The Pinnacle, a well-known lookout is a twenty-five-minute drive and a 200m walk that offers an awesome view of Mount Warning and the surrounding valley. Plan your trip for a morning as on a clear day you can see the coastline. Our property offers space to spread out or walk around the creeks and enjoy the peace and quiet away from traffic or the business of living in cities. Plenty of room for a game of cricket or footy or just sit in the cool and relax reading a book or two. We value nature and our environment and ask that you respect and care for the land that you are sharing with us during your visit. We only have a few sites in total all with creek access, all but one are suitable for caravans, one is a private campsite, 4wd-accessible, (2wd normally but not in wet weather). This site is only being offered for tents or camper trailers. We always ensure a limited number of campers so you get the space and tranquility you deserve on your camping trip. No side by side camping, always spacious and comfortable. All campers must be self-contained, with their own camp toilet and we kindly ask you take all waste when you leave.

Best camping spot we have been to! Amazingly kept, beautiful swimming spots, not overcrowded. Ticked every box for us and our three pups. Thank you so much!

Highview's our number 1
Thank you Johno for letting us stay at your wonderful property again. We love knowing that even though there's others there we have a little piece of paradise to ourselves. Loved our creek floats & relaxing. We'll definitely be back again!

Great place to get away from it all
Heaps of space besides a beautiful freshwater creek and surrounded by mountains and rainforest. Johnno was also a great host, very friendly, helpful and takes great care of his property. He was right when he said it's 'Gods country'

Cannot recommend this hipcamp enough! From the moment we started the booking process until the very end of our trip Johno was so accommodating. The property is nothing short of paradise. If you are wanting a trip away that is secluded and tranquil this is your place. The grass was freshly mowed and the creek was crystal clear and rapidly flowing. We cannot wait to return again and again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Highview Camping. Ian was a brilliant host who greeted us on arrival, had firewood ready and checked in on all his guests during our stay. The property is lovely, mowed and had several spacious sites to enjoy. Most of our time was spent exploring the creek with the kids which was easily excessable and safe for little people to swim. Ian has also provided his guests with a large field of green space which was fantastic for Frisbee or to throw or kick a ball around. If you fancy a game of cricket, there is a space with wickets and equipment provided. This is an absolute gem of a spot and we are so grateful to discover Highview camping and will return. Thanks Ian for a wonderful experience and for being such an incredible host.
