Welcome to Heliconias where we help you get back Into the Wild. We have a beautiful spot available in what feels like a tropical garden area of our property, and a fabulous yurt. There is access to a compost toilet with a view. There is also a super cute shower in the forest, it's truly a memorable shower! Our property is located approximately 20 minutes from Byron Bay. A short drive to the Wilson River and a number of lovely beaches. Enjoy the evenings gazing at the stars as you warm your toes around the campfire. Fires must be contained to the firepit provided. Please ensure fires is completely out before leaving. Take all rubbish and leave the site better than you found it. Respect the environment and wildlife.

That shower 👌👌so good after a long day driving. Stayed at camp 1 - not the flattest but we were still sweet with our camper trailer, no complaints about anything.

Amazing Hinterland Escape!
We loved camping on this beautiful patch of land amongst the rainforest. The site is easily accessible and well sign posted. The area itself is secluded and peaceful, a fair distance from other campers, and it’s a very quick and easy drive to nearby amazing beaches and to Byron Bay. Vitoria was very kind and helpful, all directions were clear and the warm forest shower is a great experience. Not a negative thing to say. Hope to return soon!

Too expensive

Expectations on the famous pine forest shower were high but when we got there it was almost dark, no clear signs about where to go and the host was away. We tried to reach out as we didn’t know where to park our 2WD van, luckily we found a neighbor who shared couple of indications. The spot is quiet, not sure about the accessibility when raining if you don’t have a 4WD. Worst point is the price, for sure. Extremely expensive for what you got, if you drive 25 mins you have natural reserves with amenities where you can stay for 20 bucks so I wouldn’t recommend it

The pine trees were lovely, if you were camping in a tent the back site would be more private however if in a car rooftop tent, this site is just by someone's driveway and there was a lack of privacy from cars coming and going into the evening. Their is no "rainforest shower" as advertised as the water set up was in complete view of two neighbouring campsites and the lack of privacy made it completely inappropriate for use. We were really disappointed with the discrepancy between the add and the reality of the site in actuality (especially as we've been camp travelling around NSW for 2 weeks and stayed at much less costly, private spots). Price for peak season was overcharged for the service.

Loved camping at Heliconas. Vitoria was very helpful when asked questions and provided clear direction prior to our arrival. The camp-site itself was amazing. With a great heated shower and toilet also. Will definitely be going back!
