The Mountain Shack
Loved it!
My husband and I really enjoyed our stay. The cabin is cosy and has a fireplace inside and out. Has everything you could need for a quiet stay away, we can't wait to visit again!

The Mountain Shack
Relaxing by the fire
This was such a relaxing stay by the fire! Such and artistic space with a beautiful rock wall inside. Had all the things you needed to cook as well with a gas top and utensils. Was great that there was power and loved that I didn’t have reception. A real retreat!

The paddock
Had a great time at Helen and Steve's property. Instructions were clear and they sent us a heap of great tips for our stay and things to do in the area. We would definitely come back!

The Mountain Shack
A break in the bush
We have just returned from a wonderful weekend at the Mountain Shack. We were excited to get away from our busy lives and have no phone service or internet for a few days with our young kids. The kids loved watching old DVD's and playing board games and getting cozy by the fire. The shack is rustic but oooozing with charm. Its up in the bush and is not a 5* hotel. But if you are open to a new experience immersing yourself in nature add the Mountain Shack to your list. I can safely say I have never stayed somewhere that is built into a rock! Awesome. Thanks for having us Helen and Steve. We hope to return again soon.
