Awesome little spot with good access to Medowie.
Managed to squeeze our 19m bus/car trailer in, and didn’t have any issues sinking into the grass.

Neat large paddock(s) campsite surrounded by trees. You’d be forgiven in thinking that you weren’t just 5 minutes from all the town has to offer. Hosts were very obliging and paddocks maintained. We stayed in the back paddock and it felt very secluded and quiet + safe.
The kids loved watching all the rabbits that freely roam the field.
There was a water tap on entry the host was happy for us to use, we even filled up on departure to allow for our next off grid stay.
Easy access for our 15+ meter total length setup.
Definitely recommend.

Family caravanning
WOW!
As a family of four we had an amazing experience, from the first enquiry till the day we left, the owners Anthony and Tamara were so welcoming! When we messaged about the property and our stay, their replies were super quick and helpful.
When we arrived, we were greeted by Anthony and he was super polite and clearly passionate about caravanning.
Anthony provided us a bin and came around each day to have a quick check on us and see if the bin needed emptying.
The property has three sections, two at the front side by side and one at the back that was separated by around 30-40 meters of bushland. The three paddocks were well maintained (mowed etc) and the kids had fun riding their bikes and kicking the ball, as we had the back paddock to ourselves (even during the school holidays 😀).
This 'campground' is perfectly suited to families/couples looking for a peaceful stay, the property is only around 25min from the popular Nelson Bay and only 5min away from Medowie shops (groceries/takeaway/cafes/pub etc). Plenty of mobile reception.
You will need to be self contained and sufficient (CARAVAN/RV ONLY -NO TENTS, as there are no toilets etc, you need to have your own (no 'bush' toileting due to the property being within the Hunter Water catchment area)).
Anthony has began putting town water taps for campers to have access to drinking water.
Well done Anthony and Tamara, you've done an amazing job of the 'campground' and we can't wait to stay again!!
