You are invited to camp on what was once a golf course, and always has been surrounded by natural bushland. Situated only 20 minutes from Canberra, we offer you the opportunity to escape from the hustle and bustle of the city and immerse yourself in a peaceful country experience. There are dams to camp near, and a beautiful nature reserve where you can take a peaceful walk. If you would like to have a wander and experience some untouched bushland, please ask and we can provide simple directions. Bird watching and wildlife observation is unavoidable, and we recommend downloading the ACT Field Guide app. Enjoy your morning coffee surrounded by kangaroos and cockatoos. Suitable for Tents, Campers, Vans and Caravans, with good access for 2WD and caravans. Must have own amenities. There are no toilets on site and you need to take everything away with you. Small campfires are permitted in designated areas, when restrictions aren't in place. You may use dead wood that you find on the golf course area as firewood. Please do not gather firewood from the nature reserve, for wildlife's sake. Pets are not permitted.

The Hidden Fairway at Goolabri Estate was fantastic! It was serene, beautiful, clean and a great spot to camp. We'd highly recommend a stay there. We met the host Dan, who was super nice and welcoming too. Definitely a great spot that we'd come back to in the future.

great value camping spot near ACT
This is a fantastic location for camping, with mostly flat terrain and a stunning lake providing a picturesque backdrop. The soothing sounds of light rain and frogs lulled me to sleep, and I woke up to a delightful sight of kangaroos in the morning. The spot is conveniently accessible even at night and suitable for 2wd vehicles. There are several pre-existing fire rings scattered around the area. I will definitely be returning to this serene spot.

Lovely secluded location with very peaceful ambiance. It was a very enjoyable camp next to the dam hearing the frogs, and watching the local kangaroos.

Easy to find but once there the signage was a bit lacking. Nice spot around a dam but not sure we camped in the spot we had picked online. Good place for a quick trip into Canberra though.

Camping in peace and quiet
We loved our stay, got in later in the afternoon to see the kangaroos. Very quiet location. Just how we like it. Would stay again for sure.
