You are invited to camp on what was once a golf course, and always has been surrounded by natural bushland. Situated only 20 minutes from Canberra, we offer you the opportunity to escape from the hustle and bustle of the city and immerse yourself in a peaceful country experience. There are dams to camp near, and a beautiful nature reserve where you can take a peaceful walk. If you would like to have a wander and experience some untouched bushland, please ask and we can provide simple directions. Bird watching and wildlife observation is unavoidable, and we recommend downloading the ACT Field Guide app. Enjoy your morning coffee surrounded by kangaroos and cockatoos. Suitable for Tents, Campers, Vans and Caravans, with good access for 2WD and caravans. Must have own amenities. There are no toilets on site and you need to take everything away with you. Small campfires are permitted in designated areas, when restrictions aren't in place. You may use dead wood that you find on the golf course area as firewood. Please do not gather firewood from the nature reserve, for wildlife's sake. Pets are not permitted.

The Hidden Fairway
Beautiful spot.
What a beautiful place to set up camp for a couple of nights while we spent the days exploring Canberra. The mornings and evenings by Dan's little lake were really peaceful with an abundance of roos and birds, then the frogs came out at night. I think we were the only ones on the property but the camp sites are so spread out I couldn't be sure. I would like to return when we have more time to explore the property which my grandchildren would love too. Instructions were clear although Google's "left then left" just before you turn into Rythm Rd is actually "straight through the roundabout".

Easy access
The campground was easy to get to for our 2wd even when it was kind of last minute booking. We had just escaped the incoming 95 kph wind gusts at Kosciuszko. We thank the host for making it so easy. The weather was horrendous - too windy for our tent plus it was rainy. We camped by the water and had our dinner by the campfire. There was no one else. It was a shame we had to leave the site early in the morning in the dark. The wind was getting stronger. We would have loved to stay longer and explore the area. Well, there’s always next time.

We were the only ones there at the time so it was very peaceful and the camp sites around the damn are grassy, flat and nice views across the damn to the mountains. Will definitely revisit

The hidden Fairway was an amazing spot for our camper van! It was quiet, isolated and great place to wind down after our days of exploring the Canberra region.
