Glendaryn, our property, is located 30 kms west of Kyogle and 2 hours from the Gold Coast. Featuring 35 acres consisting mainly of creek flats on the banks of Iron Pot Creek, a permanent creek which runs from nearby Toonumbar dam, this place is perfect to pitch a tent. The dam is only 2 km away and has a boat ramp. Iron Pot provides scenic camping spots with fishing (bass and cat fish), swimming, hiking, kayaking and there are bush roads nearby suitable for horse riding. This campsite welcomes self-contained campers with your own camping toilet/shower. Fresh drinking water is available at the shed as well as a firepit area however wood is not provided. Bring your horse and put up a yard or safe yards are available. Dogs are welcome as long as they are controlled and don’t chase our horses and the local wild life. There are a variety of camping sites near the creek and also one on the hill overlooking the flats. Creek side spots are dry weather only as the flat can become boggy or you can walk in around 200 metres from road. The property is 2WD accessible.Glendaryn is a 35 acre property mainly of creek flats on the banks of Iron Pot Creek, a permanent creek which runs from nearby Toonumbar dam. Creek Bend Camping
Camping by the creek!
This camp was truly one of our favourites. The horses were super friendly and loved a pat and the drop toilet was very well maintained. There were just a few other people there, but the property is big enough that no one was stepping in each others toes and you basically forgot they were there. The real hero of this property is the creek. Crystal clear, beautiful temperature, and many little waist deep swimming holes throughout. Also a few fish (maybe carp?) to catch (they are clever and didn’t take my bait, though), so there is something for everyone. We used our campervan - Toyota hiace 2wd- and stayed down at the creek. The small hill was tricky to get back up, but we got up it with a bit of a run up. Would absolutely stay here again.

Great time
This location was private and quiet, there was no set camping sites, so we got to pick an ideal spot for us. Would recommend bringing your own fire pit for convenience. Glenys was great and very helpful, would go again.

I loved the peace and quiet on Glenys's property. There is a great amount of space for everyone to have their own spot without being on top of on another. Can't forget to mention the stars at night...absolutely amazing!

Lovely quiet spot to camp. Plenty of space between camp sites. Highly recommend to get away for some peace and relaxation.

Creek Bend Camping
Very private - it was mid week so we were the only ones there. Camp sites not designated. Beautiful creek!

We had a lovely stay at Gleny’s land. She was such a great host, it’s a very private spot and utterly peaceful. Having potable water is a bonus, as well as a clean toilet close by. My partner caught a bass in the creek as well. Great time, hopefully we’ll be back someday.
