Camping at its best!!
Beautiful spot right in the middle of paradise. Easy to find. Complete rural camping, we managed just fine with our own camp toilet. Be sure to bring a gazebo for shade. However swimming hole is shady and you could hang down there for the day if it’s super hot. Aidan was super helpful and friendly.

Silky Oak
Fabulous hideaway spot
Such a gorgeous set up. Everything you could need is provided in this thoughtfully laid out glamping spot. Large bell tent, lovely fire pit, and full kitchen/bathroom provisions. The bed is comfortable and sheets and towels were soft and luxe. Private river access, curious Wagyu cattle, birdlife everywhere and thoughtful touches make this a perfect spot for a quiet few nights with the land. Aiden was a wonderful host, we'll definitely be back.

Riverbend
Great spot, with water access.
Beautiful spot by the Richmond River, just 8-10 mins outside of Kyogle NSW. Riverbend is a good sized site that will easily site up to 2 campers + vehicles with space to spare for other gazebo/swag set ups. We have an off-road forward fold camper and access was no issues., though if wet 4x4 would be needed. The no-contact check in was good with an easy to follow map available on arrival. Aiden was lovely and asked permission to pop over and visit us on our first night, which we welcomed - but otherwise left us to enjoy. There are cows as this is a working farm, our puppies initially reacted but soon settled - the cows are friendly and not reactive. This pitch is elevated about 30-40m above the water level and access is down via the ridge over undulating and sometimes steep terrain. Good walking shoes and long trousers are recommended. The water is deep and good for dog swimming and I would guess floaties too in warmer weather. We would suggest using insect repellent too when down by the water !!! Our doggies loved the water and spent a lot of time retrieving sticks. At night you may hear the NSW/QLD freight train passing (which we didn’t mind at all), but otherwise quiet. Birds are amazing, and we saw an amazing show by fire flies on our stay - very cool. The trees are very pretty and wild flowers are aplenty. Grass is short and well maintained. You need to bring your own firewood. All in all, an amazing spot we feel lucky to have discovered, recommended !
