Fig Tree Retro Studio is pet friendly!
This retro studio is a converted horse stables that has been retro fitted with
a rustic vintage theme making it unique & quirky. You will find heaps of retro paraphernalia, from the 1950's Kelvinator fridge to the laminate kitchen table as well as trinkets, and games.
Fully furnished and self-contained, the studio boasts eco-friendly features such as its zinc and recycled timber building structure; collection and usage of rainwater; and greywater distribution. In addition to having a kitchenette, fridge (please note that the freezer is not in working order), reverse cycle air conditioner, ceiling fans, spacious deck, and free WIFI, the studio also has an outdoor garden area with a BBQ, retro table, and chairs plus umbrella, retro banana lounges, and hammock to enjoy the private outlook and peaceful views. Beach necessities such as beach umbrella, chairs, and towels are provided.
We are 10min from Pottsville Bch, 10min from the Tweed section of the newly opened Northern Rivers Rail Trail, 15min from BluesFest, 25min from Byron Bay, 25min from Gold Coast Airport, 35min from Wollumbin/Mt. Warning, and 90min from Brisbane with easy access off the Pacific Highway (M1).
We love this property because it evokes a sense of peacefulness and tranquility -- to hear the birds chirping in the morning and to see the trees blowing in the wind -- beautiful to the eyes and ears!
