With views extending down the Nowendoc Valley, Ferndale appears hidden from the world, yet has easy, direct access from Thunderbolts Way. Spanning approximately 840 incredibly picturesque acres of farming land, forested spaces, and pockets of magical rainforest areas, we offer several camping sites for self-contained travellers, where each group has space to enjoy peace and total privacy. The eastern fall property enjoys frontage to the crystal clear head waters of the Nowendoc River a renown trout stream, three spring-fed creeks and several spring dams, plus hiking and MTB trails throughout. The property also boasts a variety of native animals including, wombats, lyrebirds, echidnas, kookaburras and more. Pets (dogs) are welcome but must be kept under strict control and please notify the owners/host as this is a working farm.

Fernbrook Farm
Fernbrook was just perfect! Lovely open and level field surrounded with wildflowers with butterflies galore. We camped right by the lovely creek which was flowing. Short walk further up the creek to a magical little waterfall. The property is adjacent to two state forests for some 4wd exploring. And Walcha is a nice drive further along Thunderbolts Way for a pub feed. Would certainly come back!
