At Falls Forest, you'll find 400 acres of private native forest with an abundance of wildlife, welcoming self-contained campers to immerse themselves in nature. You'll be camped just 15 minutes drive from Huskisson, Hyamms Beach, and St George's Basin - a great location if you want laid-back bush camping, but also crave a restaurant meal and a swim in the beautiful waters of Jervis Bay. It is isolated from the overcrowded tourist parks and offers great secluded camping. At the right time, you will literally not see another human for days if that is your wish! At the current moment, a 4WD is essential to access the property. All campers must be self-contained, with their own camp toilet, and take all waste when they go. So if you are tired of that 6 metre x 6 metre tent site and don't want to hear the guy next door coughing and snoring, or if you just want to only hear the sound of the breeze through the trees, come and stay a few days or a week or longer if you wish. Seclusion this accessible from Sydney is a rare commodity. Pets are welcome, but please keep them under control as we value the wildlife. Sorry, no cats for that particular reason. Most of this property is virgin ground to campers, so you may need to move some sticks or work around a log. But there are plenty of spots if you look around that have a nice grassed area where you can set up. Please grab one of the drums provided for a fire and please keep in mind fire safety and the possibility of a fire ban. I have BBQs in a central area available for that reason if you don't have your own. Please take time to look up when you set up. This is a working forest, so there are lots of large trees that have large limbs. That's nature. If you believe an area is not safe. Don't camp there. Your safety is in your hands. Snakes and spiders inhabit the area also and ticks unfortunately. So please watch your pets, and ensure they have been treated. It's an expensive and dangerous risk that is easy to avoid. Due to the terrain, 4x4 is recommended, and caravans and camper trailers built for offroad only.

Falls Forest Camping
For me it was what I was looking for, I’ve just set up my troop carrier for off grid camping, so although not far from civilisation, it was the ideal location for what I required.

Family + Dog weekend.
Thanks Barry, the google codes to find it make it very easy. Great little spot close to town & beach, for the most part it was quiet enough that you could be lulled in to thinking you are on your own! Tidy space and plenty of fire wood, the Pup loved it. We'll be back!

Falls Forest Camping
Close to crystal clear waters.
The host Barry was super helpful and friendly. The area was clean and easy to access. The proximity to local attractions and towns was also amazing. There is a big supermarket and fuel station close by too so easy to get any missing essentials.

Falls Forest Camping
There is free camping surrounding his area as it is in the state forest. We ended up not using the grounds over the easter long weekend and just stayed in the areas of free camping as it was an inconvenience to go through the gate every time and there was plenty of space. There is no need for bookings and not worth the money to be in a "gated" area
