Great spot on the bend of a babbling brook. Level site close to the creek which would be good for swimming in summer. The hill down to the site is definitely 4 wheel drive only

Relaxing by the creek!
Had a great overnight stay at Creek Swimming. Dog friendly, right on the river, relatively flat site and very clear instructions and directions. Vanessa was great to communicate with and you have the entire place to yourself. Just off the Clyde Mountain, through the well marked gate, dodge the goats and drive down to the relaxing river / creek. Plenty of deep spots to swim, water was a bit chilly but overall a great place to stay. There are no toilets but that is well communicated. (if it had a toilet it would be one of the best camps I have been to!) I would highly recommend Creek Swimming for a quiet weekend away or family camping trip. 4 stars :)
Archie my border collie had a great time, but he was on his lead at all times (except to film my YouTube video) and this is important to the owners due to lifestock and other animals around.

What a beautiful place to stay and a great host. Relaxing and peaceful.
Directions good no issues.

Loved the shady private site right by the river & the visits from the horses. The swimming hole looked a bit merky but further down the river it was nice & clear. It was unfortunate though there was a bit of road noise from the highway & a rogue chicken/turkey (i think) in the distance keeping us awake. No phone service there at all so be prepared.
We would stay here again, thank you for having us

Beautiful spot!! Being the only people at the site made our 4 day stay so much more special. To know we booked & were going to be the only ones there & not having to fight for the perfect spot (which would be plenty anyway!) made it so much more relaxing.
The creek was lovely and moderate flow. Its a healthy system & with fish in the creek to try catching.
Being off grid with no reception at all (Telstra) was perfect. Brought our own toilet & had a bush shower.
Only suggestions is that having some flattened camping spots would be really good, even with levelling our camper was still on a bit of a lean. Possibly a little mowed patch? The grass was a little long & took a few days of trampling to get it down around the site.
In all, I would certainly come back. My 5, 4 and 1 year old let their inner wildlings out.

Amazing place
What an amazing spot! So lovely being by the creek on our own, surround by beautiful scenery. Vanessa and Jason were amazing hosts - super friendly and helpful. Can’t wait to come again.
